- The Slayer Camaro is BACK on the streets. After replacing its blown head gasket, the cooling issue has been solved and the car runs great! This is my mom when I was like 10 in her primered red 70 camaro Z-28 chirping every gear , barefoot all the time but she taught me not to ride the clutch 😂 Love seeing a woman that reminds me of how badass my mom is !! Love it

@@GnarlySpeedShop The MS droid megasquirt is a nice touch. I'm considering the megasquirt or Haltech, or AEM, haven't decided yet for my Saturn SL2 turbo 4 banger build. Weighing costs, features and reliability , etc.

I've been driving stickshifts since 1978 and love 'em! My '69 AMX has a 4-speed.

Hello ive driven a stick shift for over 50 yrs and i was taught to take your foot completely off the pedal every time you shift cus riding the clutch puts undue pressure on the throwout bearing and on the trans synchros. Hope you dont take this wrong thank you for your videos you guys rock

This is my favorite camaro, I almost bought 2 1969 Z 28s ONE 67 rs/ss back in the day ,my favorite is my 57 Belair at 14 I was in my Dad's 68 Nova SS 396 4 SPD smoking the tires!

Good to see more people learning stick just remember dont roll corners with you foot on the clutch select your gear and pwer around the corner that is control . Its teally no different to auto
liv id say your getting than hang of that manual shift pretty fast. thats an awesome camaro
OK I need a cigarette after listening to that engine!!! not sure on the laws in your state. However you should be able to get a transport plate. Or if you can get a wholesale dealers license you would have a dealer plate. Then you could legally drive your cars with insurance. Not sure if this is the case but I was trying to help :-)

If you. Don't have a clutch. You don't have much. Try keep pressure on the shifter when you are accelerating . Then when you hit the clutch bam right into the next gear. It works with muncie transmission. I don't know if them rail transmission are the same.

Luckily I know most of the pace car guys in my area. It helps when you work on their personal muscle cars LOL. I bet that slayer really rips when it gets turned up.

For real. I thought it was just me thinking that, especially with so much torque. In fact I’d start in 2nd sometimes. A lot of high horsepower modern cars with automatic transmissions start in 2nd unless you put it in “go fast” mode.

I’m heavily considering….
I learned how to drive on a 4 speed manual only a VW and did my road test in one ,but then had automatics for years. Tried to move my ex GF's car which was a manual and I forgot how to drive a stick LoL kept on stalling! She was cracking up because I had taught her back in the day! Guess I can go to somewhere for lessons again I am looking for a manual Camaro but kinda leery .
