I’m a librarian at a university, and I will always support the use of audio books as a means of reading. If you think about it-the origins of story telling are word of mouth. I think audio books are just as beneficial as print books/ebooks. At the end of the day, gaining new information is the important thing. I don’t understand why one method of reading should be considered ‘lesser than’ in comparison to another 🤷🏻♀️
Yes! I have loved seeing audiobooks become more popular, they absolutely count as reading! ❤❤❤
Yes especially for people who have ADHD or other disorders. I have ADHD and listening is a better way for me to obtain info since I can only keep reading when I have time or are interested from the first page otherwise I do struggle. I used to read more but I agree with you
It made me realize how long I have been watching Taylor when she talked about the silver hair journey 😮. I also remember going back to her first videos and leopard print robe rants. I love her constant ability to keep getting up and it motivates me to try harder 💖🦋🌷

I haven't tried it but a physical therapist told me a trick with epsom salt - dissolve some in a spray bottle and use it on the legs if a bath is impractical. I have sensitive skin so idk but I want to try it!! That PT helped me with chronic pain and hypermobility. Love your work Taylor! Thanks for the wise words on turning a day around ❤
I do this I do it before my shower though so I can rinse it off after like 20 min because it can irritate.
Hmmm interesting. I wonder if that would help with leg cramps at night. They are so bad right now I am not getting much sleep at all so wiling to try anything. Maybe do it with magnesium flakes.. thanks for the tip

Healthfood stores carry very good Magnesium Lotion/Creams. If you can test first do that because some can actually irritate. Others can be smeared on the soles of the feet to help with sleep, and all over legs for cramping. I take magnesium for leg cramps. My dad gave me a decent CBD cream for my feet which helps with pain and cramping. CALM magnesium powder works great for sleep, as well as constipation if you take more.

When I was a teenager, my hairdresser got SO mad at me because I box dyed my hair black and then came to her and wanted to go blonde. Lol. She did it though! It was a long process... We started out by removing some of the color and then put a bunch of teeny tiny blonde highlights all over. I kept going back every couple months or so, we would repeat the process of putting a bunch of highlights all over, and then eventually I was completely blonde with absolutely zero damage. I thought that was a brilliant idea. At the time, I didn't realize you couldn't just change your hair to whatever color, whenever, no matter what color you have currently. I thought you just put dye on and it just dyes it. Lol. So I learned A LOT from that experience!

I love your vlogs and especially now since I’ll be traveling abroad for the first time in YEARS. I love that you’ve been in the Phoenix area, I seriously love that place so much to the point where we’re considering moving there. The botanical garden is freaking gorgeous! And the nice thing is that there’s a mountain lookout point nearby where you can sit at the top and watch the sun go down over the mountain - it’s just the most gorgeous thing ever. Seriously AZ has incredible sunsets. Thank you so much for sharing your travels - can’t wait to see more!

I had box black for maybe 10 years. Never had anyone else do it cus why would I? It's so easy to do yourself haha but now I'm copper and love it. Took maybe 5 goes but having them use a lighten and deposit style product was really effective. Only needed one round of bleach using that.
Also such a good vlog. Probably my fave one yet xx

Hi Taylor, thanks for the video. I had a job where I used to listen to audiobooks. It was mostly computer work, and it helped me concentrate and block out office noise. I also listened to music sometimes. Other people in the group listened to podcasts.

I absolutely know what you meant about the massage not being fun. I have a great massage therapist I went to often before (when figuring out what was wrong) my shoulder surgery and after surgery once I was cleared. I had a complete tear of my biceps tendon. Anyway.. I only had 30 min upper back and it was extremely intense/painful /non-relaxing but very beneficial! I hope you’re feeling better soon! 💜

Oh my goodness Taylor, I remember when you tried to go silver! I went through the process of going blonde from dark brunette to grow out my silvers. Two rounds of all over highlights and it was finally light enough to tone ash and grow it out. Black it is a tough one though.
The California blue zone is a small town called Loma Linda, there’s a huge level 1 trauma center hospital there too and also focuses a lot on healthy living, eating, mental lifestyle. I work there and get to see the area around and yes, there’s a lot of OLD but healthy people here 😆 it’s really interesting!

I've recently gotten into audio books as well. I drive across my state (9 hours round trip) every other week and audio books have been a blessing for that.

I have dark blonde hair naturally. I dyed my hair black "black tea" box dye, I went to a salon to use color removal and it turned bright orange after 3 tries.
I was devastated.
That same week I went to another salon and the girl threw in a bunch of thin highlights and fixed it. Thank goodness.
Learned my lesson. I'm never dying my hair ever again. Ever. That macaroni and cheese powder color was not it and I'm too afraid to do anything else besides my natural.

I went light over a year ago from black and my hair fried I had to chop it off 😢 it cost me over 300 dollars to keep up with it. I watched your video where you’re dying your hair and I said this is a sign to go back to black. I ordered the hair dye you used and fell in love. I have never used anything that is a true blue black usually Sally’s doesn’t last or doesn’t grab. I absolutely love myself in black hair I just feel like myself again. ❤

My birthday was March 13th and went on a shopping spree at Sephora and I got that haus labs highlighter and I love it!!! I got the red in the huda beauty cheek tint and the happy sol shade for the rare beauty and love love love it too lol. I think your hair is absolutely gorgeous black and fits your skin tone so perfectly!!!!! ❤ I love the new idea too, but I know for a fact that color remover can and does damage your hair, so you’d have to just be very careful and keep very good care of it afterwards. It think close to summer is perfect for that ❤❤❤
I have a lot of the same products you picked up in your haul. I especially love the Bali body 1 hr express (which I also leave on overnight). I used to exclusively use the St. Tropez, but the color of the Bali body is so much better for my fair skin. I also lean towards more cool toned colors and it just suits me better!

I recently tried your hair dye from Amazon and I love the color too. I always use the black from LOreal because it has the little comb applicator that makes it soooo quick and easy compared to the normal kind. It got me thinking if Amazon carries just empty comb applicators and they do! I just ordered a three pack and am going to try. It’s so much easier to get all of the roots because you just comb it through while squeezing. Highly recommend.
