Thank you Jay for an incredibly thorough and clear set of notes. This really made me think about process and opportunity. Can you PLEASE, please make more videos? Would love to know what are the choices in terms of the work different companies do. You mentioned a very graphic vs a ver mathematical approach. Would love to hear more of that and see more of your videos! ✨
Did you feel that the Flatiron bootcamp was teaching you to fill a UX or Software Testing role, or something else? Thinking about this as a route as well, and Flatiron is on the list.
You are competiting against A.I and people from India and China. And more and more competition every day. Go to nursing. A.I can't do it and can't be outsourced.
I don't disagree as both countries have a lot of people who go into engineering. However, I think it is dependent on the companies too. Not all companies can afford to outsource and in the long term code maintenance may be difficult if so many external people touch the code and don't follow the company's conventions. I think AI may still have a little bit of ways to go but I like to think of it as a tool rather than it taking over my job. You have to know how to prompt the AI and give it enough context for it to be able to do what you want. I don't know anything about the nursing industry so I can't speak to that.
Dont be negative...everybody isnt for nursing. And its too bad that people think of getting into nursing just to make money because QUALITY of being a professional is going to the dumps while folks show up for a paycheck ...
@@crazyjloop89 Thanks for your comment. I agree, not everybody is suited for that kind of work. I'm can be very stressful as well even if it can pay well.

You have to choose a program before you start. I believe there is a difference in cost. I choose software engineering.
