Love your videos. We should always ask why first. Is it really the rain or is your gate sagging? Top right gap is larger than bottom. Left top is lower. Why? Gravity. Fix the source not the symptom!

I think maybe one step was skipped for this fix. It appeared watching the video that when the gate was lifted up to undo the latch either the hinges moved or the post moved. After the fix it's also obvious that the bottom of the gate is out of alignment.First you need to analyze the problem. Look beyond the obvious when you fix what bugs you. The obvious may be a symptom rather than the cause. In this case it appears that the post might not be anchored into the ground properly or is misaligned. Or possibly the hinge screws are stripped or not seated properly. So the problem may come back next rainy season.

Larry Edson you are massively perceptive! Good eye problem solving! You're right in that there later became some deeper issues with the fence. Apparently is was built rather cheaply and more than one feature has had to be corrected.

The entire gate is put on cheaply. put another hinge on the gate and use quality hardware, you won't have the problem. you can tell just by the way the gate fits, it was not put up by a professional. Like a foundation of a house, if it put in poorly, and the builder didn't care to do a quality job, the rest of the house will follow in the same manner.
