Paul Akers, another classic video of making things simple, and fixing what bugs you. You are in control of process, as an operator owning the process, you know what bugs you the most, and fixing it should be empowered by your manager and culture of organization. A great example of how simple LEAN is.
After watching the Tour of your Facility video I referred to your facility as a "box of awesomeness". Looks like a place as they work the employees have a ongoing mindset for improvement while being encouraged and supported by management! Open minded team efforts. Teamwork is part of the key to success in my opinion. I never had the attitude of those who say "That's not my job".
You hit my engineering pet peeve - orientate is not a word. The correct word is orient. Orientated is not a word either, it's oriented. Love the improvements!! Keep the rope tight!
+falfas55bgas.... Depends on what part of the country your are from! LOL! Could you imaging if the Webster Dictionary was produced in the deep south rather in the north east!
What bugs me is that the fastcap homepage doesn't let me navigate and find products, using Firefox. Looks like your web guy tested in Safari and Chrome (webkit) but not on Firefox. While he's at it he should also check it works in MS IE 11 and MS Edge. Cool products, cool company. Found out about you from Izzy Swan who seems to have a bit of a Kaizen attitude as well. Good fit.
+Warp So sorry you have having troubles! From our tech guy: The site has been tested in firefox. Most likely the problem is with the video overlay of Paul walking out. When that video plays for the first time it overlays the entire site rendering some portions of the navigation un-clickable because its flash video overlaying the screen. I just tested this on firefox and this was the case. First time coming to site, video loads and navigation is hard to use because of video. Once I refreshed the page and the video no longer loads the navigation works fine. Can you try refreshing the page and confirm Paul's walkout video doesn’t play? Then the navigation should work fine. If you continue to have problems please send me the exact version of Firefox you are using so he can replicate the problem.
+FastCap Yes it was the walk-out video that caused at least one of the glitches. It also as a side-effect caused the drawing of the product menus to glitch. This was what was most annoying as I could not read the list of products.
Kewl. My kitchen salt and pepper shakers have occupied their respective spots for three decades. P to the left of a spice rack, S to the right (more commonly used). The spices in the spice rack are supposed to be alphabetically arranged: That's harder to enforce! LOL! In all those, though, only a few are ever used. The rest are just for looks, really.
Wow, it would be MUCH easier to hear what you are saying if you would reduce the noise level of the music to about half. I just gave up since I didn’t want to waste my time struggling.
