Watch the video of Khabib being frustrated by reporters asking him the same questions over and again and then his face lighting up after he decided to just spend the rest of his time talking about his dad with them. He was like a little boy proudly talking about his superhero with the greatest joy.

I know exactly what Khabib is feeling right now, i had a very similar bond with my father and i come from a family with the same exact culture. It is fatal and i went through the hospital a couple of times because of heartaches and similar problems because i couldnt take the sorrow anymore. However, Khabib is tougher than me for sure.

Inshallah janatal fardus for abdulmanap Nurmagomedov a great man who raised a champion. the whole khabib camp remind me of the sahaba in a way , you can tell khabib really looks at our prophet muhammad pbuh teachings how to be a good man and then you have DC a real leader for our fellow brothers, who seems to be finding islam when he said we will meet all again reminded me of Bilal 3alayhi salam who the prophet loved very much as does DC and khabib

Man the level of friendship between DC and Khabib amazes me every time. But this time I think it’ll be to a whole new level. Khabib’s dad wasn’t just a father and a coach to him, his whole world revolves around his dad and now he may lose the one thing he loved outside of his family, MMA. I think with DC having gone through the same thing earlier this year, their bond might just be what saves Khabib’s motivation towards MMA.
