Strange...listening to Helen sing I Believe in Music, knowing that both she and the author of that song, Mac Davis both died on September 29th, 2020. I have and always be a huge fan of hers. Helen is forever in my heart. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet her at Lowell Memorial Auditorium in December of 1998. Thank you Jim Keaton for arranging me to meet Helen Reddy. I will always keep listening to the Best.
Incredible performance. And to think she flew from LA to Vegas each night, flew back after the show, fed her kids breakfast, slept while they were in school, fixed them dinner and flew back to Vegas to do it all over. Wow.
RIP HELEN REDDY I saw you in concert in Charlotte North Carolina and i have alot of your albums and some movies too!!!!!! What a beauitful voice and talent also!!!!!!

im late to the party didnt realize what a star and legend and hitmaker as well as trailblazer. and won the FIRST American Music Award Best Pop vocalist over Diana Ross & Roberta Flack. What a wonderful life and times and legacy thx RIP
I remember watching Helen Reddy in the 1970's on shows like Midnight Special and other variety hours and I remember how classy and talented she always seemed. She was never trashy or foul-mouthed like the young stars of today; just focused on singing and conveying emotion. Even though I am a male; I used to love the song "I am Woman"; she sang it with such conviction and sincerity. What a talent! RIP Helen Reddy!! We miss you!!
It is truly ironic that Helen starts out singing "I believe In Music" written by Mac Davis, as they both passed away on the same day...RIP both of them
Sitting in your apartment....I can only hope you know how many of us love you dear! Always wanted to meet you now at64 I never will...but thank you....honestly, Thank you!! You truly are a beautiful soul!!
I think this was caesars palace. Those people were so lucky to be there that night. When the Lord let’s us enter heaven, it’s Helen’s voice we’ll hear. I can listen to this concert never ending. I think when Streisand or Ronstadt or Cher want to hear music, they listen to Helen. Can’t stop crying, she moves me so.
Susan S. i hate when people write that. Talent is everywhere. Often its older people Longing for exactly the sounds of their lost youth. I m 60. Helen was big in my adolescence
she had her own distinctive sound with great diction. a big part of the early and mid-'70s. losing a lot of great talents of that era, time marches on for all of us.
I'm so proud to say I grew up with her and Mac Davis' music! Had the privilege to see both of them live at our county fair in the 70's! Great performers!

I am so grateful not just for her magical performances, but her facinating and Inspiring views on life. I've been so fortunate to have been blessed by her music and her thoughts about life itself. From a young boy to a man,she has provided me with a wealth of pleasure and wisdom. Thank you Helen....keep on keeping on..you are a true blessing our world. God bless you.
So beautiful. Greg, I feel the same as you. I pray she read your comment. I’m sure she did. I haven’t stopped crying since she passed. Heaven is where she came from and where she is now.
I dragged my younger sister to see Helen Reddy perform and we tried to sneak back stage once it was over but we were carted out (lol). She was one of my many idols -- and she had so many hits That Ain't No Way to Treat a Lady I believe was her last big one. I could be wrong but that one resonates through my mind -- probably recorded after '76.
Woke and zealous, feminists like her have caused so much harm to family and society. Civilisation fatally damaged by these deluded and vacuous extremists. Sad, very sad.
I couldnt disagree more. Harm to family and society? The only harm done to anything is the hatred in that statement. What is family and society if it is not shown a beautiful example of how kindness is delivered.
@@greggrabow6898 Trouble is, feminism destroyed the family unit. Ended up with fatherless families and kids who never had a dad. Troubled children become troubled adults.
@@lennylaa1686 well.. I can't agree with that...what is feminism anyway? And troubled children don't automatically become troubled adults....and even if there was a connection I don't see that being any responsibility of an iconic entertainer.
