I love the fact that he is not trying to complain but is trying to bring back the history of black cowboys. I tip. m hat to you sir for honoring that past of black.black cowboys.🤠
Iam a retired blind white cowboy and I've know some of the finest black cowboys I've ever met of them all..most honest men and they me so proud they Calle there friends ❤️
You know Larry I would love to meet you in person. It is so great to see devoted people every now and then for a good cause. You are a very devoted person for something truthfully good and unfortunate in the same time. You are a Pioneer sir and definitely have been going against the current but your voice has been heard. Please keep doing what you are doing. I am thinking of giving you a call very soon, as soon as possibly today. I love to talk to you in person if possibl. Thank you so very much for your contribution and God bless you along with everybody who is being helping if there is any to keep what you are doing happening. Sincerely: Spirit in Boston
AND - we can't forget Bill Pickett, the man who invented the technique of bulldogging or steer-wrestling, and was known as the world's first black cowboy and rodeo star…
I wish more people would appreciate more of the Black History of the United States, those Men & Women helped this Country pros-pure & grow into the Great Country we all are today.
I'm almost 60 years old and live in Texas. As a kid, I saw Black cowboys, read about them in books and saw them in movies. I'm glad that there is a Black Cowboy Museum, but this is not "hidden history". It's just less-documented history.
@@CharleneCTX A lot of this is agenda-driven recently invented history. Even cowboy Charlie Siringo wrote about Black cowboys in his famous biography: A Texas Cowboy or Fifteen Years on the Hurricane Deck of a Spanish Pony in1886. You would think that the Texas Country Reporter would know better and be above disseminating blatant misinformation. :(
Why is the mannequin holding the Black Cowboy Museum sign white??? Either way I’m going to visit this museum in the coming year. I wanna know more about our history.
Oklahoma City.. JS ... I'm a Hardcore Conservative.. I'm a Cowboy.. and A Marine... I saw no race in his story.. only a story.. I did not hear "you owe" one damn time. He said I don't want you to forget.. same as every damned one of us! To know we mattered.. to know we made a difference.. and not to be forgotten.. I'm sick of this division too (thanks Obama) but I am more sick of people talking smack for someone having their own opinion or point of view. This country is all about different points of view.. No need to be an Ass about it!
I do many digs on the cover up of our history. I almost cried over this because I am finding the lies. This just makes me sick! No one ever told me this I just always believed that the blacks were our true pioneers. They did all the work.
We’re Mighty PROUD OF you Larry, Much Love Sir!!
A Great Gentleman to keep this memory alive...Bless Him....And Thanks...

I grew up with Texas country Reporter since I was a boy this was a inspiration by going around Texas and seeing what my state has to bring
Me too!
So true! It's what's in your heart that makes a real cowboy. Or a mother, father, CEO, whatever you are -- it's what's in your heart that counts. 💓💓💓

Always a cowboy
That's a fact and also there were lots of hired Hispanics and Native American Cowboys. I've read where they outnumbered the white Cowboys.

John Grytbakk for your information there is the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame. There you will find tribute and facts to the American Cowboy. Black and White.
@@nathanielpenn1794 It wasn't what I asked.
they were the original cowboys of the USA. the actual first cowboys were the Spanish from Spain
They learned from the Moors
So when are the Dallas Cowboys going to change their name since it's the new offensive thing 🙄
