3 or 4 of them can with little risk...fauna, irys, sora and to some extent korone. Korones chokokorone might not heal much each one but they come with a bonus healing buff and you can spawn ALOT of them in little time

I think getting the Gorilla's Paw would have gotten you enough damage to beat the run. Since your crit rate is already almost 0, the Paw is just free 20-40% damage.
Agreed. The only holomems the paw is bad on are those that rely on crit, or have some kind of crit gimmick. EDIT: and even then, I’ve used the paw on my Oshi, Ina (1% base crit), and I have *still* seen the odd crit. I don’t think the %age listed in game is accurate.

Fauna is one of the few characters who heals so much that asacoco injection doesn't bother her that much (esp with nurse horn), basically free 40% attack

@@nujevad28 Incredibly fun. And cheap too. I had to forcefully stop because it was consuming my life. There are 5 main areas with 3 stages per area with short gameplay loops: 10, 15 and 20 minutes. Completing stage challenges results in unlocking weapons, skills and characters. And finding my own combinations for breaking the game was incredibly satisfying. In the end, I completed the 30 minute infinite challenges without moving after reaching the 20 minute mark. Super fun to find broken stuff.
So if you didn't know already, the creator of Vampire Survivors used to work designing slot machines. He ended up creating VS as a way for people to experience the same psychological reaction as a slot machine without the negatives. Probably explains why it feels addicting.
I literally cannot believe that there are people who say that Holocure is a, straight up, rip-off of Vampire Survivors. Although yeah, it is heavily inspired by it, obviously, but it DEFINITELY is not a copy. Vampire Survivors not only has shallow as fuck gameplay with x5 less content when it comes to a single mechanic, but Holocure has a good bunch of actually different mechanics. On top of that for instance Vampire Survivor's characters literally only look slightly different, not having any actual real gameplay differences, while Holocure has a variety of, sometimes enitrely different characters, altogether 77 (As of 0.6) items, with extremely balanced, varying builds. Yet on top of that Vampire Survivors (compared to Holocure.) barely gets any updates (If any, I'm not sure myself), while Holocure is entirely F2P without any microtransactions, and receives regular, mostly enormous updates, while there is just mostly one dev working on the game, who claims to want for it to be a passion project all the way, refusing to even appear in the credits (GIGACHAD Kay Yu). And yet on top of that, Holocure not only has the stage mode, but also an entirely different gameplay mode, which Vampire Survivors doesn't have. The HoloHouse is pretty much Animal Crossing inside the actual 'Vampire Survivors' stylized gameplay. First off, you can utilize the fishing minigame, which is literally the 2nd best way of gaining coins btw, right after broken, tryhard stage mode strats. On top of that there's literally a cooking mechanic, which let's you receive MAJOR bonuses of varying kinds when playing the stage mode. Besides that there's the farming mechanic, with 3 different kind of soils, and different kinds of crops. This is yet another way of gaining HoloCoins, but besides that you'll need various vegetables etc. for cooking. Of which it takes at the very utmost about 12 minutes for the most expensive crop to grow, and that is ofc without the soil which speeds the process up by 40%, also skipping the watering / raining mechanic which speeds the process up, and of course you can for instance play the stage mode while the crops grow, or do some fishing. Besides that there's the Managing mechanic, which let's you hire workers that generate you passive income. You need to feed them different kinds of crops / fish in order to replenish their stamina and level them up, increasing their efficiency. And then there's the actual House decorating. And of course when it comes to stage mode, there are the - Stamps, Enchants, Super Collabs, Fandoms, and an entire upgrade menu, which also can be used to make the game even more difficult... And also the achievement grind is fun as fuck + Holocure's graphics look better than Vampire Survivor's. I wouldn't really dare to call it a copy. (I've tried my best to make this rant readable.)
I swear the Healers in this game are some of the deadliest. Take Mel, Choco Sensei and Fauna for example. All of them deal damage or crowd control when they heal.
Seeing Asmon play Holocure made me want to go back to it. Didn't realize that it's now on Steam (it saved my progress to Steam too). It's very different from what I remember, veered away a lot from Vampire Survivors. Personally love using Mumei because of the homing and friend. On top of that her special is a panic button.
Zack got me hooked on Vampire Survivors just with his gameplay. He made it so fun! Im gonna need him to explain to my wife why I keep buying games he plays and gets excited about and has a great time playing.

If you win the RNG buff game, you can make Fauna essentially immortal. Kaela doesn't need the RNG buff game. If you max out her personal buffs, especially her hammer, she just deletes everything with minimal effort. My first usage in Endless lasted 32 minutes with 864k points.
The reality is that fanmade games from communities like the one who made this game are doing this for free meanwhile AAA game companies are releasing glitchy trash for $70.
It's interesting how fast Asmon picked up that Haste Up doesn't come often at all, and should be prioritized. So many people take a long time to understand this. Sasuga expert gamer.
Haste became significantly more common in this version, to the point the Haste-boosting items are almost irrelevant past the half-way point into a stage. With a gacha-powered and shop-powered character, you can outright eliminate Energy Drink.
the amount of support by asmon, playing these crowdfunding game or even just a fan base game.. is beautiful no wonder he play a lot of small dev game, kudos!😊

I'm so happy this game is getting the love it deserves. After all, it's free, keeps getting updated and it's different enough from other games like it with the HoloHouse, the fishing, the farming, the gacha system, no microtransactions and countless other things.
I used to play this on my laptop with a really scuffed setup, so my mouse hand would get sore after a few hours. I mained Fauna and Sana because you don't need to aim with them.
I gotta say, Holocure puts other Vamplikes to shame simply for the fact that it's FREE and offers the same kind and depth of content as the others, while at the same time putting ACTUAL EFFORT into its visual and its art. VS is great, but I gotta say, compare HoloCure directly to Vampire Survivors and 4 Dollars (+ another 4 for the DLCs) suddenly seem like quite a lot of money. Dontcha think?
@@dkosmari Yes, and while the DLCs for VS DO offer a significant amount of content (lots of new characters and weapons to make the pool of combinations bigger, and also handcrafted maps which i think its a step towards evolution of vamplikes that almost NO others have done yet), there is an extra payment step to get to that more sophisticated content.

fun fact: due to an oversight on developer's end, most collabs are a downgrade for this patch, the only good ones are Eldritch Horror, Elite Cooking, Dragon Fire and Rap dog, 2 of which share an item there are also niche ones: Absolute Wall, Broken Dreams, Frozen Sea, Idol Concert and Snow Flower Sake this happened because all collabs were nerfed by 60% to 1) not overshadow an idol's kit and 2) to make super collabs feel more powerful since you can only have 1 per run

So if you didn't know already, the creator of Vampire Survivors used to work designing slot machines. He ended up creating VS as a way for people to experience the same psychological reaction as a slot machine without the negatives.
Probably explains why it feels addicting.

I literally cannot believe that there are people who say that Holocure is a, straight up, rip-off of Vampire Survivors. Although yeah, it is heavily inspired by it, obviously, but it DEFINITELY is not a copy.
Vampire Survivors not only has shallow as fuck gameplay with x5 less content when it comes to a single mechanic, but Holocure has a good bunch of actually different mechanics.
On top of that for instance Vampire Survivor's characters literally only look slightly different, not having any actual real gameplay differences, while Holocure has a variety of, sometimes enitrely different characters, altogether 77 (As of 0.6) items, with extremely balanced, varying builds.
Yet on top of that Vampire Survivors (compared to Holocure.) barely gets any updates (If any, I'm not sure myself), while Holocure is entirely F2P without any microtransactions, and receives regular, mostly enormous updates, while there is just mostly one dev working on the game, who claims to want for it to be a passion project all the way, refusing to even appear in the credits (GIGACHAD Kay Yu).
And yet on top of that, Holocure not only has the stage mode, but also an entirely different gameplay mode, which Vampire Survivors doesn't have. The HoloHouse is pretty much Animal Crossing inside the actual 'Vampire Survivors' stylized gameplay.
First off, you can utilize the fishing minigame, which is literally the 2nd best way of gaining coins btw, right after broken, tryhard stage mode strats.
On top of that there's literally a cooking mechanic, which let's you receive MAJOR bonuses of varying kinds when playing the stage mode. Besides that there's the farming mechanic, with 3 different kind of soils, and different kinds of crops.
This is yet another way of gaining HoloCoins, but besides that you'll need various vegetables etc. for cooking. Of which it takes at the very utmost about 12 minutes for the most expensive crop to grow, and that is ofc without the soil which speeds the process up by 40%, also skipping the watering / raining mechanic which speeds the process up, and of course you can for instance play the stage mode while the crops grow, or do some fishing.
Besides that there's the Managing mechanic, which let's you hire workers that generate you passive income. You need to feed them different kinds of crops / fish in order to replenish their stamina and level them up, increasing their efficiency. And then there's the actual House decorating.
And of course when it comes to stage mode, there are the - Stamps, Enchants, Super Collabs, Fandoms, and an entire upgrade menu, which also can be used to make the game even more difficult... And also the achievement grind is fun as fuck + Holocure's graphics look better than Vampire Survivor's.
I wouldn't really dare to call it a copy.

I swear the Healers in this game are some of the deadliest. Take Mel, Choco Sensei and Fauna for example. All of them deal damage or crowd control when they heal.
The amount of content they put in this game is crazy like different characters have different abilities
Seeing Asmon play Holocure made me want to go back to it. Didn't realize that it's now on Steam (it saved my progress to Steam too). It's very different from what I remember, veered away a lot from Vampire Survivors. Personally love using Mumei because of the homing and friend. On top of that her special is a panic button.
The new update just came out with all of the ID branch, new maps and this additional farming sim.
Mumei doesn't delete your loot anymore haha hope hastens your inevitable return to the game 👍

If you win the RNG buff game, you can make Fauna essentially immortal.
Kaela doesn't need the RNG buff game. If you max out her personal buffs, especially her hammer, she just deletes everything with minimal effort. My first usage in Endless lasted 32 minutes with 864k points.

It's interesting how fast Asmon picked up that Haste Up doesn't come often at all, and should be prioritized. So many people take a long time to understand this. Sasuga expert gamer.
He understands game mechanics across the board but he doesn't understand Holocure itself. Which is fine.
Haste became significantly more common in this version, to the point the Haste-boosting items are almost irrelevant past the half-way point into a stage. With a gacha-powered and shop-powered character, you can outright eliminate Energy Drink.

I'm so happy this game is getting the love it deserves. After all, it's free, keeps getting updated and it's different enough from other games like it with the HoloHouse, the fishing, the farming, the gacha system, no microtransactions and countless other things.

I used to play this on my laptop with a really scuffed setup, so my mouse hand would get sore after a few hours. I mained Fauna and Sana because you don't need to aim with them.

I gotta say, Holocure puts other Vamplikes to shame simply for the fact that it's FREE and offers the same kind and depth of content as the others, while at the same time putting ACTUAL EFFORT into its visual and its art.
VS is great, but I gotta say, compare HoloCure directly to Vampire Survivors and 4 Dollars (+ another 4 for the DLCs) suddenly seem like quite a lot of money. Dontcha think?
Let's be real, VS stagnated in content. Meanwhile, Holocure has been steadily adding more depth to the game.
@@dkosmari Yes, and while the DLCs for VS DO offer a significant amount of content (lots of new characters and weapons to make the pool of combinations bigger, and also handcrafted maps which i think its a step towards evolution of vamplikes that almost NO others have done yet), there is an extra payment step to get to that more sophisticated content.
@@Gidon147 I don't feel it's fair to compare HoloCure's value of being free to VS's 8 dollars game. HoloCure is purely a passion project that subsists on itself from Kay Yu's dispensable income. He makes no money from this game and not many is willing, or even have enough disposable income to dip into that.

fun fact: due to an oversight on developer's end, most collabs are a downgrade for this patch, the only good ones are Eldritch Horror, Elite Cooking, Dragon Fire and Rap dog, 2 of which share an item
there are also niche ones: Absolute Wall, Broken Dreams, Frozen Sea, Idol Concert and Snow Flower Sake
this happened because all collabs were nerfed by 60% to 1) not overshadow an idol's kit and 2) to make super collabs feel more powerful since you can only have 1 per run
