Around the time when he released the ID update the main person behind the project stated that, since it takes so much time to update the game, and the speed at which hololive growths, he was planning to make every member that was in hololive at the time of the initial release playable, and then decide if they'd add anyone else.

i did some thinking and i feel like holo and phase are kinda on a similar level of unhingedness actually cause in phase you know what you’re getting into mostly, not a single hinged bone in their bodies, but they’re pretty consistent about it - you can just tell there’s something wrong with them meanwhile in hololive they’re generally pretty normal at first glance, idol group whatever, but then you start picking up on the weird stuff, like gura wanting to eat a sandcastle (recent), the various armpit lickers (and nene wanting to sell armpit water), and a-chan - arguably the most well-adjusted part of the crew - openly admitting to being a vore/possession fetishist on stream (not a holo stream, but yes this is real). basically phase has the monopoly on unhinged quantity, but holo’s seems to come from more outta nowhere. so it balances out. of course i could be entirely off base because my entire experience with phase is mostly just tenma and some pippa.
Kay Yu who created the game also done art work on River City Girls1 and 2 and worked on big anime like one piece, Sword art online, Boruto, Castlevania, Bleach Mushoku Tensei and many more.
My pc is a amd 5 cpu and a nvidia 1060 gpu; there is no way I can get sixty fps, but if i turn off effects and damage numbers i never dip below fourty.
And the funny thing is that Bricky didn't even make it through like 1/8 of the content this game actually has Even if you put aside all of the different characters, you still have the different items and weapons to unlock, super items, new collabs, super collabs, 2 more stages + 3 hard mode stages, and farming/cooking/worker management metagames. Not to mention the different costume cosmetics and tons of wacky achievements to do or fandoms to grind for. Also, there is more content on the way, including a casino area LOL.

The funny thing about the "horse AI voice" stuff is it got so bad in the /vt/ board in 4chan that the entire voice AI thread got booted out with the numerous amounts of "horse audio" being requested and only made (as in, any requests that aren't about horses are ignored or given the middle finger). The fact that a 4chan board of all places was appalled by it says a lot.
And even 90% of the non horse was still disturbing. Name a fetish it got requested and some made. Theres a reason it got booted from VT since all of the vtubers did not want those things existing.
It really is telling that, for the briefest of moments, those guys had the ability to make Hololive talents do whatever they wanted, and *all* 4chan did with it was digital slander, shock content, and hate speech. They loved that a thousand times more than actual sexual content most people might enjoy or be into.

I have 70 hours in this game, and I'm only 1 achievement away from getting the Platinum. It's indeed a very solid game, like all characters play well and all abilities, items & weapons have a use for a huge variety of builds. For instance I'd highly suggest making a 100% Haste build, in particular with a character who's normally quite slow like Sana or Moona.
I clicked on this video fully expecting you to just be grumpy the whole time having never heard of you before, so I was pleasantly surprised that you engaged with the game in good faith. I really enjoyed your reactions.

Anybody here ever watch “The Daily Show”? Or at least are aware of it?
Imagine if the Daily Show did a skit or a bit where they said, “And for you hardcore fans who don’t want to miss an episode, we’re coming out with Daily Show brand supplements to get that sweet, sweet comedy and news into your body, through concentrated pills, suppositories, or even in liquid form just in case someone wants to inject the Daily Show directly into their bloodstream.”

It was started as a joke by Kiryu Coco about fans who didn’t want to miss her streams, and it very swiftly became a meme coming up with ALL the different ways to apply/use Asacoco, lol. Which is why in game you get references to the Asacoco suppository applicator and the “breathe in type” Asacoco (A weapon that fires a dragon-tail b-t plug and the molotov cocktail weaoon) and the Injection-type Asacoco. (passive boost to damage and attack rate but slowly drains health.)

The funny thing about the "horse AI voice" stuff is it got so bad in the /vt/ board in 4chan that the entire voice AI thread got booted out with the numerous amounts of "horse audio" being requested and only made (as in, any requests that aren't about horses are ignored or given the middle finger). The fact that a 4chan board of all places was appalled by it says a lot.
And even 90% of the non horse was still disturbing. Name a fetish it got requested and some made. Theres a reason it got booted from VT since all of the vtubers did not want those things existing.
It really is telling that, for the briefest of moments, those guys had the ability to make Hololive talents do whatever they wanted, and *all* 4chan did with it was digital slander, shock content, and hate speech. They loved that a thousand times more than actual sexual content most people might enjoy or be into.

@@RoyalFusilier In all fairness, the horse audio did do one very funny thing. It got Mori's skeletal horse for her Sheriff Outfit reveal like two days later, replaced with an MS Paint Mini with the word Law on the side.
Like, the artist who made the horse asset already got paid, it was ready to go, then 4chan basically forced an intern to make something in MS Paint instead.

I am forever mad, that this game is this good. Hell, i might say that its better than vampire survivors. Its just that every. Single. System. Is absolutely incredibly done. The gacha system. The collab system where you can have two items together to make something better. The character specific abilities (having 30-something characters) which have their incredible little spin to it. I did not believe how good this is

as the other person already said, council are just avatars created by the gods. they are "embodiments" of the concepts, not even the concepts themselves.

I though it was the other way around? That Holocure is inspired by Vampire Survivors while improving the core gameplay mechanics. Unless Vampire Survivors took inspiration from Holocure in their subsequent updates.
I have 70 hours in this game, and I'm only 1 achievement away from getting the Platinum.
It's indeed a very solid game, like all characters play well and all abilities, items & weapons have a use for a huge variety of builds.
For instance I'd highly suggest making a 100% Haste build, in particular with a character who's normally quite slow like Sana or Moona.
I clicked on this video fully expecting you to just be grumpy the whole time having never heard of you before, so I was pleasantly surprised that you engaged with the game in good faith. I really enjoyed your reactions.

I've never heard of Bricky until the Matarakan stream, but I'd be down to watch a full stream (or VoD) of chat trying to explain VTuber lore to Bricky. Some of it's beautiful, and some of it should have stayed in nightmares.

FYI just because something is a "x member's meme" does not mean they actually like it/endorse it/represents their content, and sometimes they don't even know about it.
Like for example Calli and horses (which is a 4chan thing, not a Calli thing), Ina and horny tentacle jokes (poor girl, she's a wholesome cinnamon roll but they gave her the "tentacle girl" character), etc.
I wish people in chat would actually try to make good impressions of the members to someone outside the community, like sharing some of Calli's songs (she's an amazing rapper/singer) or ina's illustrations or songs (she's a professional illustrator and great singer), instead of saying the most disgusting "memes" that don't represent the content these Vtubers make at all.
