People are happy that a 16 year old’s life is basically ruined. If the energy these people put into bullying this 16 year old went into pressuring Hybe to actually investigate and get some actual concrete evidence, this case might have turned out differently. The worst thing about this entire case is the fact that like a month after she left - when all of the evidence proving her innocence came out - so many people suddenly wanted her back. Like where were all these people before????? The support to bring her back suddenly drowned out the hate and I’m sitting her like something ain’t adding up. NOT MY COMMENT JUST WANNA SPREAD TO ATLEAST PUT SOME JUSTICE TO GARAM For those not caught up on the Garam case: This case was resolved 11 months ago when Garam released the full School Violence Committee Document (Eunseo, the "victim", had previously shown the public only the first 3 lines of the document). Turns out the person who called themselves the "victim" (we call her Eunseo) and said she got bullied by Garam was actually Garam's friend in middle school, but they decided to stop being friends because Eunseo kept talking behind all of her friend's backs. Eunseo was salty she lost all of her friends and decided to hack into an ex-friends Facebook account (to make it look like it wasn't her who did this) and post pictures of another ex-friend (12 y/ o at the time) where they were only wearing their underwear. This was very traumatic for the girl whose pictures were posted because she still had to attend school after students saw her half naked so she called Garam and asked for help. Garam tried to reach Eunseo,but she wouldn't pick up so frustrated Garam cursed a couple of times over text and when they eventually met up Garam coursed and yelled at Eunseo some more and asked her to delete the photo and apologize. Eunseo later went to the schools violence committee and asked them to punish Garam for the cursing over text and Garam got the Iv15 punishment (most common punishment in her school). It was never bullying, because before that incident they were literally friends. Oh yeah and also, to avoid punishment, Eunseo transferred schools and then continued to spread rumours about Garam in the new school. So yeah, Garam's career got ruined by a jealous person and a former (fake) friend who couldn't stand to see Garam achieve her dreams. I prefer staying neutral. I think it's always for the best. But what pissed me off the most with this case, are the hypocrisy from these people. They say they're against bullying but then turn around and immediately attack a minor who may or may not be a bully. And the stuff i saw are disgusting being said towards a 16 year old child. And again, these people bitch and moan about bullying but do the same. They also attack others who wants to remain neutral and it's not helping when there's more info popping up that leans more towards Garam being innocent.

They don’t care if she’s a minor, or care about the wonky evidence and Hybe’s messy attempt to help her. In fact they don’t even care that she’s human as they already created the villain narrative in their heads where they’re the heroes and they’re celebrating because they “won”.

If the energy these people put into bullying this 16 year old went into pressuring Hybe to actually investigate and get some actual concrete evidence, this case might have turned out differently. Shame on Hybe for not handling this so poorly, this entire case could’ve been avoided had they done a thorough background check on their trainees. I never had any strong feelings towards Garam, l mean l don’t know if she’s innocent or not, but the way she, especially on kpoptwt, became everyone’s punching bag I couldn’t help but empathise in that aspect. The worst thing about this entire case is the fact that like a month after she left - when all of the evidence proving her innocence came out - so many people suddenly wanted her back. Like where were all these people before????? The support to bring her back suddenly drowned out the hate and I’m sitting her like something ain’t adding up. In my opinion, once the evidence that came out proving her innocence, people were trying to save face and pretend like they didn’t harass a freaking teenager. I’ll admit this made me look at hybe in a different light. I was ready to drop the entire company and all the groups under it after this but new jeans came out and I just loved them so much (although the age thing is a little concerning). Also hybe are complete hypocrites. They claim they are against bullying and all these other stuff and they donate money but they didn’t do a single thing to stop the hate of this girl or to try and investigate and find the truth. 😤

For those not caught up on the Garam case: This case was resolved 11 months ago when Garam released the full School Violence Committee Document (Eunseo, the "victim", had previously shown the public only the first 3 lines of the document). Turns out the person who called themselves the "victim" (we call her Eunseo) and said she got bullied by Garam was actually Garam's friend in middle school, but they decided to stop being friends because Eunseo kept talking behind all of her friend's backs. Eunseo was salty she lost all of her friends and decided to hack into an ex-friends Facebook account (to make it look like it wasn't her who did this) and post pictures of another ex-friend (12 y/ o at the time) where they were only wearing their underwear. This was very traumatic for the girl whose pictures were posted because she still had to attend school after students saw her half naked so she called Garam and asked for help. Garam tried to reach Eunseo,but she wouldn't pick up so frustrated Garam cursed a couple of times over text and when they eventually met up Garam coursed and yelled at Eunseo some more and asked her to delete the photo and apologize. Eunseo later went to the schools violence committee and asked them to punish Garam for the cursing over text and Garam got the Iv15 punishment (most common punishment in her school). It was never bullying, because before that incident they were literally friends. Oh yeah and also, to avoid punishment, Eunseo transferred schools and then continued to spread rumours about Garam in the new school.
So yeah, Garam's career got ruined by a jealous person and a former (fake) friend who couldn't stand to see Garam achieve her dreams.

Garam and Garam's school did it with one statement each and I see many people standing behind Garam.
