Thank you! I am starting to digitize the main channel of a popular float river in Alaska. It is over 245 miles long. I obviously cannot do it in one sitting so I will end up digitizing it in segments beginning from its orgin to its mouth where it flows into the Yukon River. If I use the snap feature, will it create one long linear feature when I complete digitizing its entire length? I will need the linear feature to be one feature and not a bunch of "disconnected" features so that I can create a river mile map (label the river in one mile segments through its 245 mile length). I will use the river mile map to estimate trip day length and to plan daily logistics as we float the river to survey plants.
Hi! I have made 4 feature layers .shp file road, building, water, streets, i want to merge them into one single .shp file, please tell me how can i do that? i am unable to do it.
This was so well done. Totally clear and concise instruction. Thanks!!!
Very Very Well done. The teaching style is good and explains very well. Thanks a lot!.
Very Nice video, Keep going
You saved my life, my professor made it overly complicated to learn how to digitize
You are welcome :)
Thanks for this video. I often refer to it. This is a huge help!

well directed .... thanks a lot ... keep it up
You are welcome :)
Great tutorial, thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi, great video. Just one question: why do you create shape files instead of feature classes?
Very helpful
Glad it helped
You are my hero!
Thanks :)
Excellent
wow perfect !
Thanks
Hello sir , please make a video on careers in GIS field to earn more. Thank you
I wanted to divide a polygon in to 2 polygons. Would you be able to show it. Always I get an error message when I try to split or explode

Hello Sir. How to create polygon feature according to cities.?
My only critique is that you're tracing on a large scale... when you scake in, the lines are gonna be way off...
