What a wonderful daddy to do her nails for her-I was reading somewhere that dads who spend time with their daughters, and tea parties, and dolls-will develop a father-daughter bond and trust where she will confide or ask for advice from him in later years. All three of your children are charming and you are great parents. Also, those little ones can spike a fever so fast (even to the point of being delirious) and scare the heck out of mom & dad! She is such a cutie .I worked 30 years in the hospital, 10 in the emergency, 6 years in pediatric. You definitely had every reason to take her in. We had more and more kids with vovolus over a couple years that I was there . The docs blamed it mostly on the foods , and such, because years prior fast foods and foods with all kinds of crap weren't being eaten. Heck I even had a twisted intestine at 38 . I would get bad stomach pains , and such , finally it got really bad one night so my mom took me to the emergency, and that's exactly what it was. Luckily ibuprofen and some Xanax released it . Unfortunately I would get it a few times a year . You do a good job taking care of those babies !
Aww poor Evie, I deal with a lot of digestion issues myself. If constipation is a constant issue for her, maybe consider going to the pediatrician to see what you can do to help regulate it for her. :) A little TMI, but it took me over twenty years to learn it's not supposed to be like rabbit turds! No wonder why I felt icky so often! Now I take fiber gummies, and a probiotic, and also try to drink more liquids. Kids might be different so if this is a issue she struggles with I'm sure her doctor will recommend some great things to prevent this in the future. ^_^ Anyways, glad she is feeling better and Happy Birthday!
