    Great video as always love seeing videos with the kids taking part in them with their dads. Making memories that will last a lifetime.

      Don't be too quick to take it down when the boys 'age out' of the fort. Their kids may love it too11

      Haha, that's a good point, but I'm thinking that tree will probably rot out from under it before that happens!

    That’s looking very cool. I’m sure they love it. Great Dad!!

    It's great to see the boys put in a little sweat equity into their tree fort. It looks great. Fun for all of the boys, young and old.

      It was fun to have everyone put a little effort into it.

    That post hold digger looked like it would be fun to use for about 30 seconds

      You know, in good soil its surprising how fast it goes... but when you hit roots or rocks it comes to a screeching halt.

      I have that same style of post hole digger, and it’s great! All I have to do is start the hole, then my kids see me spinning this big twisty thing in the ground, and they want to try. They end up digging the hole, and I just tell them when to stop! Lol

    We need more Katie narration. Preferably with embarrassing pet names.

    • @GunflintDesigns
      @GunflintDesigns  5 месяцев назад +1

      Agreed. But I don't know if there are any pet names.

      @@GunflintDesigns Yeah, Katie seems pretty no-nonsense from the video and podcast appearances, so I'm not surprised that we wouldn't get anything more than a "Marky" or "sweetie", but I'm hoping she'll throw in a "schmoopy woopy" so Drew and Bruce could tease you a bit. Anyway, loved the video!

    It looks great! Every tree fort should have an octopus murder laptop 😁

      They have since informed me that it isn’t an octopus, but actually one of the aliens from “Independence Day,” which is pretty timely as it turns out.

    Good to see a good old DIY tree house. Didn’t have to custom order $5,000 worth of specialty hardware to mount it to the tree.

      I was going for as low-cost as possible. I figure I have between $300 and $400 into it.

    An apple launching contest? Next: Apple gun! Like a spud gun, but shoots apples, not taters. Then collect all the launched/shot apples and mash them into applesauce! Add a bit of green food coloring, and go full Slime Time Live! Take the Physical Challenge!
