haha. I must be a soothsayer. This was their first MV 8 years ago and you see the potential. As I said yesterday with their latest stuff you'll see the evolution. The ascension is like a 90 degree angle. When you get to these new MV's, especially FROM NOW ON, you may wonder if it's the same band. Yeah, you can take your time discovering this band but once a week sounds about right. Then it'll take you 2 years to get thru their catalog. lol. The Awesome BAND-MAID is going into their 10th year together so expect some surprises and more great Rock music. Peace. 4.36

Kanami plays all the guitar parts on studio versions of songs. However, as Miku has gotten better at playing under Kanami's tutelage, Miku can now play the second or rhythm guitar parts of songs in concerts. It's quite an achievement for the Little Maid that Can.
Killer mate! Greetings from another PC in Shizuoka City! Going back and through their repertoire is a very good idea as we can discover their unrelenting progress along the years (9 of them now!)! This song saved them from oblivion although Miku could not play much then and Saiki had problems with her throat polyps. Moreover, they did not write or compose that very song, and this very video is basically mimicking when you noticed the slight lack sinc. Note that Misa was still playing a 4-string bass she later abandoned! Their very first composition was "Alone" which could be nice to do next! But they still play Thrill in their live concerts in Japan! And you will note their change of costumes along the way! They managed to tough it out and surprise us all the time. This 2014 video was the make-it-or-break-it video for Band Maid. At this point Miku couldn't play the guitar since she thought she was only going to be a vocalist in the band. However this video did so well due to exposure in foreign markets, that it was decided that Band-Maid was going to be a successful project and that gave them the financial wherewithal to get started. This is before MISA and Saiki started dressing Gothic. Band-Maid is Jimmy Page approved!
Just one of the best ever straight four rockers.........this is one timeless song for hard rock. Look close and you'll see they just filmed the song twice, once black outfits and then in red outfits.......no tricks here. Who cares about lyrics, it's all about the music.

They were on the verge of splitting up until the video dropped and blew up. They've only moved up from here. This is also before the lead guitarist Kanami starting writing their songs 🤘😊🤘
This is their first MV and Akane is playing Sonor drums. She is now endorsing TAMA Star Classic Bubinga-custom 5 piece. There is a cool video of their 2022 tour where she goes into a famous drum store in the U.S. and buys a Ludwig Black Beauty Snare drum and she is so excited to play it on the next gig.

The song is the turning point of the band and may be the reason they could continue at all. I don’t claim to be an expert but I think to try to understand Band Maid one also need to have heard Thrill and to see the development from there. One can just enjoy the song though. :)

Not sure how you are getting around copyright blocks but glad you are. It may just be luck. Many Japanese bands are notorious for blocks from record companies and RUclips and an organisation in Japan that 'chases up' copyright infringement. Even if you just reacted to Band Maid, you would have a 100 plus songs, to discover. Let alone the wealth of other female Japanese bands out there.
