Looked like a miserable day out there but you made it work with some nice steelhead. I tip my hat off to you for enduring the elements, well done my friend. Left a 👍from the North.
All I see nowadays is people centerpinning, so I'm glad you have stuck with your roots and catch them on the fly. Fly fishing is the only way I will fish for trout and salmon. Awesome video!
@@silvaonthefly I'd be interested in seeing a video where you show the mainly the leader down. Like leader type, length, where you put indicator, weight, etc. I only get to make a couple trips up there a year and its hard to figure it all out on the fly...pun intended lol
Wow.. nice fishing vidio 👍💓
Thank you

Thanks Matt, I can see why so many ppl center pin 😁 it seems to be pretty effective. But I'm with ya, I really enjoy the fly rod better

thanks and tight lines!!!!
Can you do a video showing your set up using today’s rig?
Sure can. Wanna see it all? ie: pole, reel, fly line etc.... or just the rig on the end of the line?

@@gwchambers I'll look into do that and will let ya know
Back east their do you use barbless or barbed.Out hear in B.C all streams and rivers are barbless.
You can use either here. I personally use both.
Can you do a vid on your streamer fly selection and do you ever use traditional style steelhead/ salmon flies?
Anything for the doctor. But yeah I'll queue that up to do soon. I don't use the gnarly ones you see in the PNW. It's a pretty simple game here.
I just got my first fly rod and can’t wait to fish for steelhead. Any tips?
