That's a beautiful thing , the reason I'm addicted to this great hobby , the finishing rewards is just one of the things , great work Kevin looks great , I geuss I'm doing my military trx 4 body project today now
Great video Kevin! Wrenching & description, a little waffle, the initial shake down run after 🔧 session is awesome! I no longer hold my breath after wrenching on my RCs, made enough mistakes during early years like screws missing/forgotten, over tightened, too loose! More videos like this!
Thanks Kevin you brought me back! my first car was the golden arrow and that turned to to electronics witch made me a 45 year old rocket scientist. now I'm getting back into the hobby because of you greetings from America

Hey Kevin! Great rebuild of project Crispy! I love it when you strip these cars down and cleanup and wrenching on them like you do! Nice sneak peak on the power of that buggy with the foam as its running a pass and you punch it and smoke the tires so great! I can't wait to see it running on the grass and taking flight later keep up the great content and videos!😉👍📹
Love the solid red paint, too. It seems like so many people try to get fancy with their body paint jobs. I see lots of pink and light blue. This red body looks so much better to me.
Good thing there's a mute button on Microsoft teams, break time just ended but I'm still watching it😂 Don't worry I'm only supposed to be revising. Its fine😂😬
Hi kev. Just a tip. For getting hotglue and the other glues off just use a syringe and needle with methylated spirits or rubbing alcohol and just inject the alchohol around the glue
You might want one if those things that countersteers automatically I forget what they are called Edit: it is a gyro or esp depending on what you call them
Completely off topic, but I’ve figured out that body clips that are bent up, similar to those on mini crawlers or cheaper 1:10 rc cars have a lesser chance of being pulled off and lost if you have the bent end facing down towards the shell. I’ve tried it with my Hosin 9125 and I haven’t lost any body clips since. Except from when a dog attacked it
I'm actually a little surprised as normally you seem like you don't give a toss about aesthetics but on this one you really went to town! Nice job, Kev.
I have an typhon and it’s epic but Kevin’s is the most epic of them all great job on the rebuild and how long have you been doing RC like how many years
Best offroad RC lifehack for me was a 6 litre ultrasonic cleaner. Dump your axles in rattle for x minutes depending on how dirty then blast off with compressed air. The grease in the bearings will stay in. Saves huge amounts of time and comes out like new. PS: 6 litres is perfect for 8th scale buggies. For monster trucks you want to go bigger.
You did a great job there Kevin this is why I watch. Besides the great Bashing you do there's loads of wrenching time which literally proves the nay sayers wrong you might bash RCs harder than most but If it were strictly for views you wouldn't be putting in the time to wrench on them. Livestreams, and just the passion you have for the hobby is truly inspiring!! I can only hope I know as much as you do someday because it sure is a fun hobby! Keep em coming bro! 😎👊🤘
You got me hooked on this hobby. I’m shopping for my second hobby grade rc car so I can have something to drive while waiting on parts for the one I broke 😅
By far your most interesting project !!! Can't wait to see it reach 100mph. I am attempting the same thing here in Canada, my buddies help me tot try to do it befoie you :P You truly are an inspiration
Yeah I’ve done the same thing using like a silicone too suck up some vibration in some of my RC stuff. It can be tuff getting it off again but well worth the effort.
For any automotive spray painters on here , you can use Kevins cleaning brew to remove paint overspray from rubber's and plastic's just replace olive oil with air tool oil..
If you can’t handle what someone worked hard for, get bent! I will always respect someone who got what they worked for. I’m not usually sure what I want in rc vehicles until I see them perform, no brand loyalty I like what I like. And I like honesty.
Hey Kev! I would recommend putting a fan on that motor. I know Protek RC make some great really high RPM fans that plug into the receiver. Lots of people at my local track use them in their spec class cars including me. Hope this helps!
