- 84 minute compliation of the award winning BBC television comedy sketch shows of the early 80's. Staring Lenny Henry, Tracey Ullman and David Copperfield. Quality isn't the greatest as it is a rip from a VHS that is over 35 years old.
This is pretty funny, & it’s cool to see Tracey Ullman in her youth ❤️❣️
This really does bring back some happy fond memories of my younger teenage days, classic comedy at its best, they all went to have successful careers, i do believe.....
Except David Copperfield.
I well remember this programme but it isn't heard of these days as no-one talks about it. Here I was fourteen!
Yeah, I remember it, too. A springboard for Ullman and Henry, but not so much the other guy. I was 10 when first came on.

The sketch about identification is way ahead of it's time considering the two factor authentification which we have to go through today
LOL great compilation! I vaguely remember Three of a Kind but I was only 7 at the time so this is really the first time I'm watching it and I love it. Just up my street, I love 80s comedy. All three performers are extremely talented but Tracey really stands out, she's superb! 4:21 is the best bit! LOL
Tracey Ullman AND Lenny Henry? Why have I never heard of this? I grew up on British TV in Canada.
I haven’t seen this for years! Then the years started to roll away. I think these shows gave us a voice who were on the outside of the main at school.

Tracey is superb! Shame she doesn't pronounce the Welsh "Ll" properly, she does more of a "ch" sound.

I left England in 1978, for the United States. But I recognise the girl from before this. Who is she and what might she have been in that I might have seen in the 70s?

Thats not true its not Tracy Ullman, its Susan Codswallop , she was a singer from Yorkshire. She was eaten by whippits in the nineties.

David Copperfield was clearly the funny one, but the least successful. A damn shame.
David certainly came across as a more seasoned and skilled comedy performer than Lenny, at that stage of their careers. But Tracey outshone them both in my opinion. She is supremely talented and oozes star quality!
