Going into the Oh Deer dinner again after 13 years was so strange!

Rose looks so good in the game her facescan seems to move and articulate the best. Technology is wild
I was saying the same thing after replaying today! Out of all of the models during in-game conversation, her model seems to be the most expressive and detailed. It's so creepy, uncanny valley-esque and I love it.
@@MightyShakaZulu The other few characters who emote really well are Ahti and the Bookers. The polish in that one diner investigation was crazy uncanny, the way the guy moves, the way the girl gets all sassy with Saga.

I was gonna say she's only in her 30s, which is true, but considering the dark presence touched her, she has aged incredibly well considering.

Damn never....? Would RECCOMEND to play the first one first, there is a lot of information that gives a Backstory of alan wake 1's characters
Play the first Alan Wake as well as Control. It will help you better understand the Rememdyverse and its characters better.

@hellcat1401 control is great but not needed for the Alan Wake games to be understood just fills in the lines for some things before 2 came out
@@merlenef666they remastered it shortly before the sequel came out so its easily accessible now before it was exclusive probably why you hadnt heard of it

I think the changes really quite fit if you think how much time has passed. In 13 years ALOT of things are able to change. New buildings getting build. Old ones demolished. Other ones renovated aso. So yeah, it works because of the years that have passed.
I got my platinum yesterday and OH MY GOD (ala Janice). What a game! I had my doubts before buying it not because of the game itself but because it's digital only. Worth every single euro. At the moment my game of the year!

My greatest disappointment in gaming….not being able to play coconut in Alan wake 2
Oh deer diner is way smaller in the sequel and so is the town for that matter near the entrance you can notice two sets of tables on each side. That might be my only nitpick regarding environments in this game. But y’all know we came for that lore.
13 years and the toilet corridor still doesn't have any decent lighting!
I loved the game but my only complaint is Sagas sections felt so slow and drawn out especially the Watery area you run so slow and the area is decently big and with how much back tracking around you do it made it feel like a bit of a drag Alans parts were all fun though and i enjoyed just playing with him more overall the game was a 8/10 for me if the Saga bits were a bit less slow id give it a 9

They can't show the original because it was an Xbox 360 exclusive.
They mean the date that the games take place, Alan Wake 1 is set in 2010 and Alan Wake 2 is set in 2023. This short is supposed to show the people/locations of bright falls and show the changes and or lack there of during the 13 year gap between the two stories.
The remastered was released in 2021, but the first part was originally released in 2010.
Nothing like saving some money by keeping it the same eh

I want to give Alan Wake 2 a try but the lack of action & 80% night 🌙 time is a turn off
