Rangy Meisner was in Poco. He left and went to the eagles. Timothy Schmidt took his place in Poco. When Randy left the Eagles, Timothy left Poco and joined the Eagles.
Tasha. A good feeling to know in my opinion, is their best. Randy Meisner went on to help form the Eagles which he left after like 5 years. Timothy b, Schmidt is the current bass player for the Eagles since he also left Poco.
Love the harmonies of Timothy B. Schmit, Paul Cotton and George Grantham. I was always hoping that somewhere along the line Tim and Paul would record an album as a duo. Sadly, that is no longer possible.
Great Tim Schmidt song! As many of his songs were IMO. Also, Head Over Heels is an awesome album! Anyone who thinks this song is 'wimpy', maybe is not a true Poco fan. my $.o2 This channel should check out more of this awesome and underrated band!
I’ve never heard this one, it was a great song. You should check out Crazy Love, beautiful melody and more of those great harmonies. I think it may have been their biggest hit.
If you had never heard this Poco song, you should check out the whole Head Over Heels album! Completely different than their previous material. Has a bit of Carribean feel to it.
No you need to do some Poco that ROCKS not just the wimpy acoustic but Boomerang or live version of Cmon .....still got harmonies but got REAL COUNTRY ROCK and really representative of what they did
The reality is when you look at the date that this came out this was not country music this was rock and roll like Charlie Daniels Marshall Tucker Lynyrd Skynyrd The Eagles they all had a country sound but country was completely different modern country is more like Southern or country rock used to be
Nope it's like with Neil Young they just want the wimpy acoustic but Poco was about the rock edge like Under The Gun....check out the Live version of Nature of Love....rock with the solo steel guitar by Rusty but yeah need their rock stuff too many top 40 wimps
Really Really need to do Poco s live version of Nature of Love ......again with great harmonies and Rusty blistering Steel Guitar solo....stop the wimpy stuff
Underrated and under appreciated group of legendary musicians of the early days of country rockers...just my North Mississippi opinion of course. 🙂 ♥
South Mississippi agrees as well.
You are correct and i good opinion atuuschaaw

So wasn't Randy Meisner
Yep !
What does that have to do with this song that Tim wrote and sang
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN It was, on the first Poco album.
Schmit, not Schmidt.
Beautiful song!!! Great performers! Thanks Tasha! 👍😊🌹
Poco continued the legacy of The Buffalo Springfield, moreso than CSNY (Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young)
" Heart of the Night ". " Crazy Love " " It's a Good Feeling to Know "
Randy Meisner sang with the Eagles too! Beautiful voice!
It Tim B Schmidt singing.
Great to see someone reacting to one of the best bands ever. How about doing "Rose of Cimarron" next?
I first heard of this song on the TV show bones

thank you first one for POCO
I’ve never heard this one, it was a great song. You should check out Crazy Love, beautiful melody and more of those great harmonies. I think it may have been their biggest hit.
Nope under the gun or Nature of Love something with rock as well...too many wimpy stuff
If you had never heard this Poco song, you should check out the whole Head Over Heels album! Completely different than their previous material. Has a bit of Carribean feel to it.
This wasn't considered country, but "soft rock". I remember. I was there
Poco - "Heart of the Night"
crazy love
I totally suggest "A Good Feelin' To Know" as your next Poco song. It's incredible.
Both bass players from the Eagles, Randy Mieisner and Timothy B. Schmit both did stints with this group before joining the Eagles.
I think you would really dig Hammond Song by The Roches - another song with heavenly harmonies
Hi Tasha, because their harmonies were " heavenly", do we get church credit?? LOL
Hey Mike, not with that lyric video in the beginning 🤣🤣🤣
"Interesting" lyric video LOL
Poco is a great band. Try inside corner by Poco. Any Poco song 🎧 s fantastic
OBVIOUSLY Timothy B Schimt is singing lead on this
RIP, Rusty and Paul.
I wish you had pulled up the video with them performing

Yeah the harmonies were good...but I give it a 3...YAWN! Sorry just being honest...maybe I've been hangin out with T's metal heads too long! 🤣
Nope it's like with Neil Young they just want the wimpy acoustic but Poco was about the rock edge like Under The Gun....check out the Live version of Nature of Love....rock with the solo steel guitar by Rusty but yeah need their rock stuff too many top 40 wimps
