In the early years, Fritz Industries emerged as a research leader in the development of products based on applied chemistry and unique manufacturing processes, leading to the establishment of the pet products division.
    The Fritz Pet Products Division began in the early 1970s with the manufacturing of all-glass aquariums and processing aquarium gravel. Today, the specialty division manufactures hundreds of pet products with an emphasis on the aquatics market, developing innovative products such as FritzZyme 7 & 9, TurboStart and FritzGuard. The Fritz Aquatics line is marketed to major distributors and pet retailers throughout the U.S. and internationally.
    Fritz Aquatics also manufactures products for large aquatic facilities, zoos and the largest public aquariums in the world. In 2014, Fritz Aquatics secured an exclusive royalty agreement with Sergeant’s Pet Care Products, Inc. for their Mardel and Aquarium Product lines.

    As noob, appreciate how you guys explained what every tool is. Many videos just briefly go throught it or don’t even go through it at all. It is intimidating. The first component to anything, is understanding why we need it

    • @rajgill7576

      I set mine up for $60 today. $18 2 gal brand new reef tank pump and lamp off eBay( this was what made this possible). $18 live sand, $15 bacteria. $8 for 4 gallons of precycled seawater from the shop. $59 total
      Letting it cycle as it's all cloudy right now. Setup is small enough that the fluorescent light will get me up to temp in a day or 2. Gonna go get 3 or r soft corals when the water clears. Dope ass marine setup from scratch under $100. Soft coral frags are $10 a pop at my local shop.
      I'm no expert, it's my first time doing marine and I could fail real bad, but it can be done cheap... ish xD. Oh yea another $20 for a 5w tank heater and salinity meter

    Nice tour of Nima’s store. I’ve been there a couple times and he has a nice variety of corals & dry goods. I’ve seen Jimmy on several videos with Aquarium co-op which he did a great job and I’m happy to see him switch over to the salt water side. Glad you gave Jimmy some good advice Shawn.

    Really interesting you say that your frozen food is better in terms of nutrients to the tank than the dried. I’ve always been told that if you can get them on to dried, it’s packed with goodness and much better for the tank as a whole, with all the frozen ‘juice’ which melts and gets dispersed into the water system, rising your phosphates etc.

    I guess most people are intimidated because the salt water hobby is so expensive. thats why i havent started on the dark side of the hobby

    • @Arborpress
      @Arborpress 3 месяца назад

      People make it expensive. You can have a fish only with live rock tank that looks stunning and it will be as cheap and easy as freshwater tanks. It's when people start getting into buying corals and can't stop when it becomes expensive and more tricky to maintain. The more coral you buy, the more testing is required, the more gear you feel inclined to buy, etc. It's a veryyyy easy slippery slope to fall down after you buy your first couple frags lol.
