I think it happens when they win their last duel needed to win, while dueling a neutral apocalypse, the same night they transform, because the game gives pirate invulnerable Defence so that it can kill them, but the NA survives the duel and thus the pirate doesn’t win -🤓
Pirate transforms into Kingmaker, member of the hangmans (Hangman: they are only here to kill 1 person(unstoppable/hang strength)during the day and leave, and nothing can kill them/Members: pirate who already won but didn't leave, exe who got their target killed, doomsayer, i don't know? rit with defense???, the hangman only kills town who killed other towns...except jailor and traitors [non playable])

In tos2, there are no kingmakers anymore. Task-based neutral roles leave town in victory once they fulfill their goal.

It’s to remove “kingmakers” being people who have already won being able to decide who wins the game.
This has been patched now, but i think they won like this yes
