Town of Salem 2 has different factions in it.
The Coven: The Dreamweaver, Enchanter, Illusionist, Medusa, Conjuror, Jinx, Ritualist, Coven Leader, Hex Master, Witch, Necromancer, Poisoner, Potion Master, Voodoo Master and Wildling
The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf

I know a new sk wins animation and marshal reveal needs to be done. I can’t think of anything else.

It’s kinda funny that the first win achievement is “Lonely Killer,” but it was a four serial killer game.
I feel like the serial killer animation is a placeholder
Honestly feel like a placeholder animation yes, because I’m pretty sure it’s the exact same as the draw animation. They still have time to work on that though, so let’s hope!
Another thing I think is a placeholder is the other three horseman screen, and the one shown if for if they win the Apocalypse game mode.

I like how “hex bomb” has become an official term. Like in tos, it never says “after everyone’s been hexed, bomb the entire town”, it was just a community term for it.

I'm just wondering how it would interact with a horseman. e.g. lets say hm is the last coven remaining and pesty is here, since hex bomb only deals unstoppable attack, it means horseman wouldn't die per say. THe HM woudl still lose.
@@1mol831 Hex Bomb may be reworked so that instead of simply dealing unstoppable attack it instead just kills everyone that's not coven as if they've been lynched.
@@1mol831 HM overrides Horseman Godliness by entirely ignoring it and triggering a Coven Win directly.

“Lonely killer”
When you shroud a bodyguard that goes on you, you get "Their role was Bodyguard! They were killed by a Bodyguard! They also died while defnding their target!" and YOU get : "You were attacked, but a bodyguard defended you! You were attacked, but your defense was too high! Your targets defense is too high!"

While I find all the new animations very cool, I gotta say that I really like the Prosecutor's one the most. It's short, powerful, and really feels like you're about to turn the tide of the game... or, you know, mislynch and get strung up by the hangman for dishonoring the town.
To be honest, Prosecutor's (and Hex Master's) animations were taken straight from Traitors in Salem, so naturally they are more complete.

prosecutor's animation fucking rules, the length really adds to it i'd say. deputy's animation should rule too by all means, but it's like three times as long as pros's LOL

idk why but the sk thing feels like a placeholder? like all the other alignments and whatever have a unique winscreen but sk just doesnt

Yeah, its just the same as the Draw animation. Just with the SKs standing out there.
@@josephbolton5893 The draw animation makes perfect sense, an empty town because nobody won. SK one whoever is definitely lacking.

I feel like the trailer animation for the SK is better then the boring end screen we get now. At least have them laughing maniacally over bodies and blood.
I always mistakenly thought that the executioner torment animation is a tormentor pulling a fish from behind the target, bashing them with it and then stashing the fish into the ground to make a clean getaway. Would have been really tormenting to die via fish tbh.

@@personguy2262 If they did, then I wish they'd change the animation of the torment so that there is a transformation where the tormentor from a buff shadowy guy into a skinny Scout before beating its target with a fish.

Pestilence's horse having a little plague doctor mask of its own is kinda cute, I have to admit.
Out of all the new roles, I think trickster aka the "veteran transporter hybrid" and the admirer are my 2 favorite new roles because of how funny it is to see them in action

Mayor reveal animation is cool but it kinda robbed us of the comedic timing of the randim mayor reveal pop-up
I saw that the new wins were unique animations, so this is just what I needed.

Imagine how long a day would be if a mayor reveals themselves, gets conjure nuked, deputy shoots someone random, admirer appears, and then exe torments... just imagine sitting through that
The prosecution animation is so cool
imagine just sitting there and a dude with a giant axe just runs up to you at max speed, snatches your soul out of your body then just leaves
I feel that it'd be cool if the jest/exe got win screens, rare just like olden times. Or perhaps town unique roles get a win screen if they end the game with their role

Feels strange that just death has ending but not the NA roles
Death's ending is the same as the other NAs, he just gets that extra animation when he kills everyone
Because unlike the other horsemen, death ability is an auto win if it activates

is the sk win screen really the same as the draw one? RIP
The animations are cool, but I think some of the cutscenes could do with some better sound design. Death in particular comes to mind.
The animation? Just what an instant-win needs to be-- a door to another goddamn plane of existence opens up, spooky dude throws a scythe and soul-nukes the town. No complaints here, I love it.
The sound? Almost nothing, unless you count the music (the sound of the scythe being thrown isn't bad, but isn't satisfying on its own). The doors need to have sound-- something metallic, heavy, probably with a bit of echo. The scythe needs an actual impact behind it. Maybe add a little something for that bit at the end where you see the souls getting sucked into Death's lantern.
Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the cutscenes are lacking in sound due to the game still being unfinished. SK's animation seems to be a placeholder, after all.

yea i really hope they do a better SK win screen. SK win screen is literally just the draw screen but people standing there
Ok wait does that mean Death has like its own win condition? Can it win alone AND with the horsemen? Or is it like the hex bomb where it just shows them completely nuking the town
When the player transforms into death, the town has to try and hang him or he auto wins the very next night
Death is part of the horsemen team, so when Death claims the souls of the town, all the horsemen win
Death animation is cool because it’s like I am the 4th seals and now to open the 5th seal and 6th seal
Why isn't there only jesters wins endscreen or the other neutral evils. Imagine if everyone dies, the game ends in a draw except only the jester wins and there's like an endscreen which shows jester haunting the town.

As much as I would love to watch this and just see all the unique animations this game has to offer right now, I’d rather wait for the full game to release and slowly see everything as I progress through the game and just never get bored.

Great animations and I know that the SK one must be a placeholder but what about the other three horsemen of apocalypse. Death gets his own win screen so why not the others. Also I feel like there should be different win screens for if the horsemen win without having transformed. In addition to that, what happens if only a jester wins?
Maybe there should be transforming animations, but death has a special animation because they kill the entire town at once

I love these animations, but I'm worried that they may feel annoying as we play more. Hope that doesn't happen.
its only on a few people and the end screen animations i feel everyone would get used to. Dont really see it happening unless they overload more and more animations. Will def get less exciting but I dont see them getting super annoying.

Death's soul collecting animation is like how the deputy/conjurer have animations when they kill. The 'apocalypse is nigh' victory animation plays whenever any horseman, Death included, wins.
Death gets his own kill animation presumably because he's the only one who kills the entire town at once, War and Pest still need to visit and rampage after transforming, and Famine kills everyone but 3 others, then slowly kills the rest.

@@vascofernandes295 Pest doesn't technically rampage but they have two attributes that do pretty much the same thing

Does TS2 have Pest vs Jugg scenario? Like the Unstoppable force vs Immoveable defense. It would be amazing if they have animation for that.
Juggernaut no longer exists. Was reworked into a horsemen role so they are on the "same team"

Is there an animation for deputy shooting immune like there is for conjuror or is it treated as a hanging?
When you hit someone immune it just shows up with a message saying their defence is too high

@@raquiem1203 In TOS 1 it's possible to get a plaguebearer win, but I don't know about TOS 2
@@SeaIix Baker is impossible to get a win anyways, and the easiest out of the four to get a win without transforming, if it were possible, would be Berserker, followed by Plaguebearer. I'm unsure about Soul Collector since everybody needs to die before n6 and if SC is not allowed to visit then it may be possible.
@@forgottenetremembered is it instant or end of day? You could have two deputies shoot two townies and die instantly leaving only the baker at end of game.
While I do like the prosecution animation, it's a little disappointing that they just reused the one from among us salem
