After collecting some parts like chain and sprocket I decide to make my own crimping tool to save time instead going to the City to make my broken hose done,

My wife wonders why I have all sorts of scrap metal in my shop. It’s not scrap when you have an imagination and a bit of skill.
I will make this tool without using a milling machine. Yes, it is possible only with the lathe. Thanks for demonstrating how the system works!

From start to finish, a fantastic video.
The only thing I would do different is to grind off the welds anywhere but on the lathe, or at least, cover the ways with a cloth or cardboard.
Yeah .... you really *don't* want to get grinding grit into the sideways !
than maybe put a video where thats what you did?! im sure he knows about that and made a saved time vs. cost to fix vs. chance of damage decision.
@@VerilyRude the others gave great advice, However you just sound like a Know nothing jerk. Grinding grit will cause permanent damage to the ways and ruin the lathes repeatability. A rag or a piece of cardboard cost a few cents and can prevent many thousands of dollars worth of damage.

I've used a tool post grinder on my lathe and always cover the bed and slideways with paper - and clean and re-oil afterwards.
Someone spent time and effort getting those flat - you don't want to go covering them with abrasive dust - and you don't need a video to point out what should be obvious.
