I once built a small blank-firing cannon from a truck hydraulic cylinder and clad it in a glass fibre jacket I’d cast in a mould to get all the exterior detail correct. Added timber and a pair of old cartwheels.

I'm an engineer and make factory automations all over the world. I like ingenuity, cleverness, etc. I try to use existing "stuff" all the time to make my equipment just to keep it simple. Sounds like a fun project. @@and7barton
Could also make another bolt carrier group allowing you to feed in Diablo shaped pellets, judging from his barrel maybe 6-9mm ones. Now your into medium sized game.
I started crossbow fishing a few years ago. I have found a laser sight is essential. As we learned in school the water refracts light so where you see the fish isn't where it really is. The laser refracts as well so it compensates the aim. The glowing dot also attracts fish.
Which laser sight are you using? I've heard that not every laser is refracting in the same way, some refract differently from visible light, some just dont work with water at all, you cant see them.
@@georgewashington1621 It's just a cheap Chinese red laser from Amazon. it cost like 12 bucks. I believe green may defuse in water but i'm not sure. but anyhow, red works fine for me. I use it mainly in creeks and streams so no great depth.

I imagine you can make just about anything u want to when you have such machinery but when you have next to nothin u can still improvise true it might not be as fancy but if you have the time, patience, and know how u can still accomplish it

I guess we can l do our own research. But it is interesting that high power, big caliber, pre-charged pneumatic airgun technology was available in the late 1700.

Does the CA glue not dry out the rubber gasket and cause it to crumble ??? Or did you use vulcanised rubber glue, bicycle puncture repair glue, for example ???

Fishing rod its better tool for it, and less painfull for fishes. And this fishing gun is a copy chinese co2 airgun qb-78 series.

Lewis and Clark used an air rifle like this when they traveled across the United states that was invented in the 1790's. It had a 27 shot magazine.
