I just wanted to write a short theme song for Welcome Home and it turned into all this haha! What a warm and welcoming project.

But when you look and listen closer, you start spotting little hints that this show might not be what it seems. I can't believe just now I realized something (please tell me if more lyrics did this):
Some lyrics have double meanings!
'Tag! You're it! You better run' might probably mean running away from whoever or whatever is behind the whole arg (presumably Wally and/or Home)
The pre-chorus (but something off waits just across or is it underneath the stage), in my mind, means whatever is off is in plain sight and underneath the show's colorful exterior
And lastly 'Under the Wool, over the eyes' would probably mean that it's over Wally's eyes and under the whole happy neighborhood we know and love (or hate)

This is absolutely amazing!!! It feels so familiar yet foreign and the best way to explain listening to it is looking through an kaleidoscope or an old stained glass window if that makes any sense. All in all it’s absolutely stunning and you can feel every inch of love and effort put into this song.

I love this song so freaking much!!! I really love the unsual time signatures you used, theyre so much fun and i think not being able to immediately place the rhythm gave it a disjointed-confusing vibe that fits with WH.
