I dated a guy that lived there. He was the nephew of the dentist that built it and lived there. There was a guest house on the tunnel that led into the castle and that’s where he lived. He gave me a tour of the house and it was gorgeous. It had an indoor/outdoor pool with a glass wall that you swam under to get from inside to outside. That appears to be gone. It also had a real dungeon in a tunnel below the house. The house looks destroyed now, I guess it’s getting a remodel. I really hope they put all of its features back together and that they restore it rather than remodel it.
Built in 1977 sure, we have been lied to about everything. The way the bricks fade into foundation, which then fades into the earth. You can not tell where the man made portion ends and nature begins. This epic structure has all the classic signs of Old world construction.
Need an updated video!!
Hmm.. I've a;ways wondered what this looks like from up close...
Great job on the drone footage!
Fun to see change. Another man's dream now.
This is Westley Barron Smith and I like the old design better.
Holy cow, look at that view! 💕
just finishing the stairs around turret now.
Wow😳

Thank you!!
Far out , a dentist owned that !
Bet That Was/IS "Fun" Building It. The drone view makes it look like a scale model. Timme 2 Check out the longer vid 2C If Inside Filming....

@@LinkAerial haha
beautiful view
Thanks for visiting
Mort would be embarrassed. All that steel, stole its soul.
I am morts grandson and I am horrified watching this
It's been ruined!
To think, a friggin castle wasn't good enough for whoever did this to it.
I agree this revamp: modern design destroyed the Castle we all knew.
At night it used to look so cool all lit up.
It should of been preserved by the historical district and kept true to its original state.
Now it’s going to look like some house from LA.
Is this a new Medieval Times location?
That's a helluva big investment to put into the side of a hill that may slide away someday.
It looks ridiculous.
Mort would be embarassed.
Cool house in amazing location going to waste. Sad.
Why is it... going to waste?
@@EDub513 once a historical monument now is a monstrosity.
It really does feel like Cinderella inside of a castle in a disney fairytale
Well done Link Aerial
I'd have to disagree.
I don't think the outside looks too appealing b, but why they didn't show us the inside has turned me off completely !
That monstrosity was there back in the 70's.It looked ridiculous then and it looks ridiculous now
