Nice glimpse inside the college. I'm sure Ronny is an excellent teacher!
Students have an excellent English, I am impressed, greetings from Ecuador
Wow. North korean girls are pretty even no make up.
Who told they have no make up??
@@Truthholder345 they arent really allowed to wear makeup much, especially in schools
Makeup is probably banned in North Korea
boss great it’s not it’s actually pretty popular there
@@morganjean9056 actually breathing are banned in North Korea
Very beautiful memorial, I hope to visit some day!
Nice to see students who are interested in learning, not like the UK.👏👏👏👏
im pretty sure most have to seem happy and like they are loving everything they do bc I mean this is North Korea we talking about-
Totally, at least communist are allowed to study unlike in the EU.
@@zachwest1741 Oh, you have a lot to learn, Mr. Dingleberry:
1. England was the first country to undergo industrialization. Even the ML fascist Trotsky thought the world revolution had to start in the industrialized nations.
Why?
2. well, for example, but not exclusively, because states like England, Germany, etc. have been blithely destabilizing any alternative development models, for example in Africa, by supporting proxies and rebels all these years.
3. the industrialized countries have also massively sanctioned other states, so that they could not develop at all. So how history would have gone, which is a superior society, is not so easy to analyze with respect to 1, 2, and 3. The social world is not a physics experiment that can simply be repeated in the laboratory.
4 Mr. Dingleberry, celebrating North Korea is obviously a cynical joke and you took it seriously. What does that say about you, Mr. Dingleberry?
5. EVERY single citizen of Haiti (+++Free Market+++) would trade places with a Norkorean or Cuban in a heartbeat. Oh, you live in U.K. and you're fine? What a pathetic retard you are. Unbelievable.
Truth hurts 😞Preach!

No wonder education is failing outside
🇰🇵 i know why can't they look at the educational value are humans truly this desperate 😥 🇰🇵
Idk about you chief, but seems pretty ordinary to me
Because it is
By ordinary you mean for the extremely privileged and wealthy North Koreans then yeah, it's ordinary for them.
@@rabtehdisappoint108 🇰🇵 this education is free for all not just the rich and privileged, its part of the juche system all are provided with free and mandatory education 🇰🇵

🇰🇵 @ untrue there is no caste system in the dprk, I think your confusing it with India 🇰🇵
Wholesome, proud, confident. A real nation

Greetings from Brazil!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏🤝🤝🤝🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I can only hope that in the next few years America will lift the tourism ban so I can see this beautiful and unique country. It is really a shame, and kind of ironic, that the USA were the ones to ban all travel to DPRK that doesn't serve the "national interest". We will never truly get to know what life is like in this part of the world, as our media doesn't allow it...
@Sims Attack, Never truly get to know? It’s exactly how you would imagine life in a totalitarian system. The complete absence of freedom and civil liberties and a state that monitors every aspect of the people’s public and private life. Unique indeed, but in a grim and depressing way. Does that mean that people don’t smile or can’t be happy? No, surely not, because people are resilient, even in the most dire circumstances they will try to make the best of their lives.
@@uvox670 I am sure that the DPRK government is not in any way a good or benevolent system, but the truth of North Korea is buried under years of propaganda and lies. Making any real informed solid opinion of their government is just about impossible. Just as much as no North Korean could make an honest opinion of the US.
Yeah, Western propaganda on NK is rampant. It's definitely a lot more normal and humane than western media makes it out to be.
@@simsattackstreams I can tell you as someone who has looked into the country before you'd be amazed at how many things claimed are lies. Even some simple things, some of it is purposeful propaganda but some of it is just ignorant people making up stuff for who knows what reason
A country where there are no electricty, internet, no free wifi and the tour guide will monitor you every seconds. No freedom at all.
Those North Korean woman R just 😍
Don't simp they are kids
Children are looking good and I think they are polite since they are from NK.
Why they are studying Tourism if they cant leave country
Students are really good in English.
what a precious records!
Being a collage student in North Korea isn't really "average" I belive
Since there's no internet for public in North Korea, it's really hard to find real life story from North Korean inside the country, it's almost impossible. But hey, guess what? Koryo tours (which is a north Korean tourism company) has a youtube channel!
My French friend Renal he has studied "Medical Science" in N.Korea for 5 years, and graduated on last year. He said that he like DPRK too much, and will go there again at next year to visit his Korean friends.
Around 65% of N.Korean peoples are studying or, have been graduated from University. This rate is high.
@@senssinekong1332 lol, French goverment doesn't even recognise North Korea and u're talking about your French friend who study in NK? That's funny
@@fakyu9346 What do you mean when you say "recognise"? I believe him because there are foreign students in Pyonyang so it can be true.
@@senssinekong1332 The thing I really doubt is the rate of "65% of all N.Korean people are universitarians".
The existence of that channel does not surprise me. The North Korean government has opened up to tourism with the main and most important goal of obtaining some foreign capital. And this seems to fit little with his philosophy of self-sufficiency.
heh 8:15 was our school time :) and like good little sheep we'd all line up to be counted and stand at attention for assembly - nails cut, shoes polished, hair combed :)
At least they have interest in learning. Hopefully education can elevate your life.
Women in North Korea are beautiful but men in South Korea are handsome
K-pop singers handsome? Hell no
@@theranredguardist1949 yes every men in south korea is a singer
There is an old Korean saying: 남남북녀 (Southern Men and Northern Girls). This saying already existed before the division. It implicates the belief that the women in the north are the most pretty while men in the south are most handsome.
South Korea also uses (or hijacked if you like to call it) this expression for their TV show where they put North Korean refugee girls together with South Korean men. This show implicates that "the poor North Korean women" need protection of the "strong South Korean men".
The saying is still being used and taught. When I visited Hoeryong in the DPRK. They said that it's the city where apparently the most beautiful girls are from. (It's one of the most northern cities and Kim Jong Suk was born here too)
They also said that men in the south are apparently most handsome.
Plastic surgery maybe?😅😂
North Koreans are more natural than south Koreans. Plastic surgery might be expensive there just like the cost of 1 car. I think God give them blessing by making them pretty. Human's life is not perfect but God know how to make them happy in life. There are good and bad things in life.

Absolutely. Feel free to contact the Koryo Tours office for further details.
Yes, on your Russian passport.
Wouldn't advise it, they may think your a double agent.
@@pimpgreen8989 I can go on a Russian speaking tour your and should be alright. Obviously going on a Russian passport and only speaking English will raise flags. Plus NK is pretty friendly with Russia as there's many NK work camps in Russian along their border together.

I think it’s pretty sad that every lesson, all art and every song is about the regime. There seems to be no room for personal exploration and development. Stripping away autonomy dehumanises a person.
They, do? Have movies and songs about personal relationships?
Just as long as you behave, you’ll be fine

This is indeed an average school day...for the privileged
Everyone in the country receives the same quality of education, even if they dont go go the tourism college, so yes, citizens of the DPRK are privileged to receive such fine educations I have to agree with you.
documentary crews are under strict regulations of what they can show on camera. they can only show happy people with food and priviledge.
Warsaw Pact they are not. Citizens in Pyongyang have a good education, but not those dying from hunger
@@warsawpact1548 I mean, that is clearly untrue, in a country that can't provide electricity 24hrs a day even in the capital, and much rarer in the countryside. Its also well documented from people who lived in NK and still have family there that many school children spend half their school day doing farm labour. I'd hardly call it free education if it is both compulsory and involves unpaid child labour.
They are very pretty, the women that is. Is this were Miss Gin Gwan Suk went to school? She is very good.
I said it once and I'll say it again, North Korean women are the most beautiful in the world
