What a legend. I'm 21 and I find it so sad most people my age don't and never will know about Don. It's such a privilege to have him still here....

Eric Haber I'm 21 y.o. too and I first knew Don Rickles from the movie Dennis the Menace and Toy Story. Growing up I learned how funny, sharp, and humble this man is. I'm from Asia and I feel so lucky being able to see bits of Johnny Carson, Don Rickles, David Letterman etc. even just from youtube. This is absolutely an example of a classy entertainment.

+Tim Other I got to escort Mr Rickles while he stayed with us at Belterra Casino. He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet (even for a Dodger fan). And yes I too think he picked up the singing from Frank. Mr Rickles still has Frank's manager Tony with him. He was a joy too. If I wasn't working a double shift I would have had drinks at our bar with him. Mr Rickles, his wife are wonderful people as is Tony. Lots of good stories too from their days with Frank.
+Kevin M I saw him in April 2003, nine days after the "Shock and Awe" invasion of Iraq. He was doing songs like "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy" in his act, and it seemed like his racial attacks were slightly toned down. It was still worth driving through a freezing rain and paying the freight to see him in person.
They could all sing but he was at the time of Sinatra, etc and probably never thought he was good enough :(
He was a very good singer but when you are in the company of Sinatra, Martin etc he was never as good as that so never sang , which is a shame ,,,
When this guy goes...that era will be gone. God bless this man.

So sad to have this man gone today. Great comedian and actor. I hope they finished the voice recording for Toy Story 4 in time (If Potato Head is in it). Great man, one of the few true comedians who could make you laugh at yourself through insults.

he may have been the greatest comedian of all time, honestly. he did a set of jokes for a long time, but his delivery always let them feel fresh - on the other hand, when he was ad-libbing (letterman, regis philbin, dino-roasts) he was unstoppable, i salute you, thank you for the laughter you gave us

In May this wonderful entertainer turns 90. Thank you for your talent, kind sir. May you live as long as you wish, and may you continue to be blessed by God for as long as you live.

i hate the fact that i found out who Don Rickles is a year later he passed. but im thankful enough for the new technology for me to enjoy his shows, i dont really enjoy much comedy but Mr.Rickles is a one of a kind and will there never be another one like him. One of my biggest regrets in life is never getting to see Mr. Warmth perform live. The king of insult comedy, yet he did it in a way that was never offensive or with malice. He was one of a kind, a legend and there will never be another like him.
I found Mr. Rickles in You Tube and wish I had seen him earlier. I am 52 but he's my kind of funny man. And he sings! He is funny no superlatives needed. I love this man.
