Well ya, most of them only virtue signal in the hope of power or other personal gain that has nothing to do with what they say they want. I am a nurse and I do feel privileged. I feel privileged to wake up every single morning and put on my scrubs and take care of others. I have never refused to care for any person, not even ones like this who have NO clue!!
John’s Hopkins needs to strongly consider who they hire. If this is what she preaches, then many of their patients are getting subpar treatment, or maybe none at all. This racist theology has NO place in America, certainly not in a hospital where every patient is a VIP.

Privilege is when the medical body that issues medical licenses to graduate students lowers the passing requirement to obtain the medical license specifically to accommodate a specific group because they cannot pass the test which all other groups do pass. This privilege is far more dangerous than any other.

Why do we still call Johns Hopkins “one of the finest institutions in the world.” We saw many of their flaws in the Maya trial. That same hospital misdiagnosed my daughter, told her her condition was in her head, and left her wheelchair bound for over a year. Thank goodness a cardiologist with USF finally found the issue and started treating her. Johns Hopkins in no longer a prestigious institution, they are just another greedy corporation.

Why would Johns Hopkins retain someone who made such a flawed statement? Usually people who exercised such poor judgment are fired. It's obvious which group has the real privilege in America, and it certainly isn't anyone on her list, but it's who she sees when she looks in a mirror

When I had surgery in Ventura county, the nurses, both male and female were extremely kind and they took care of me with so much care that I constantly found myself thanking them for everything they did for me because they were incredibly kind and so helpful and they never gave me the impression that I was bothering them in anyway. I have a lot of respect for the nurses that took care of me when I had surgery. I thank God for them.
I won't mention which hospital on the South Shore bumped me from getting life-saving procedure which I just had quadruple bypass 3 weeks earlier and suffered complications and heart attacks following it and I got bumped for somebody else with better insurance in different ethnicity, I was put last on the list to have angioplasty and my doctor was in charge of the whole department
