I think that Airbus should extend the end of the slide cause everybody is crashing, the slide is very high and in case of emergency all the pax will be stuck at the bottom and it's gonna be a big problem!
extending the slide won't be any use.Don't forget this gets deployed automatically and there's no guarantee where you're going to land. If the slide deploys usually the first passengers are instructed to stay at the end of the slide and help the remaining pax to get up
Truth is, chute is too steep, and in normal situation passengers wont be trained to slide perfectly. Most will be throwned face forward at the bottom...
gosh...most of them don't know how to jump, some even sitting down before moving forward, most of them don't know how to arrive (toes up, torso forward, people) and...no one assisting below?! i guess a big bunch of pax would suffer sprayed or broken ankles in real operations... emirates may have a good service, but in case of trouble, i'll trust me, myself, and i.
No assistance at the bottom because they have to learn how to run off and they're at training...learning how to run off. On a flight you must listen to the FA
They should have had trainers acting as ABP's at the bottom of the slide to help them to their feet. A slide decent of that height can't be easy. I've seen people crash and burn on the A320 slide decent.

In a real emergency I don't think anyone will be sliding with a smile on their face.

in this case, they're trying to teach how to get off it properly (running off). This is for cabin crew.
