    I used your method today...no kidding. I caught a small bluegill while crappie fishing and I had one of my cat poles in the boat. I put it on (hooked just like you do here) & with the small bullet weight. Threw it out a ways from the rip rap. I pretty much forgot about it while I was getting shallow crappie. About an hour later BAM !! Big cat swallowed the whole gill, and the circle hook worked ! THANKS !!

    Love it ,I use to fish like that before I had a boat, and had a great time. Since I have a boat I forgot what a great time I had bank fishing, thanks for the reminder.

    Much respect RGTFM. Your right about taking care of the honey-do list during the week. She’ll appreciate you taking care of her and no doubt let you go fishing on the weekend, plus be sweet on you when you get home. Ain’t that right Momma Sue? And about Elmo, I’d re-roof the trailer on Wednesday and Thursday night for a chance to go fishing with the Machine. Wooo.

    Gene you have quite an advantage over us California anglers. We aren't allowed to use bluegill or cut bait crappie for catfish. We can use minnows for live bait but nothing live from the lake. The lake I live on has monster catfish in the 30 lb and up class. Wish we could use bluegill , we could catch a lot more bigger cats .

    I am a new subscriber this is only the second video I have seen. I must say I love this channel. one of my favorites already. the first video I watched you had your weight pegged with a rubber band I wrote this information down. and this video it seems like you were using the same way but more like a Carolina rig. what I'm saying I guess is no pegging the fishing weight on this video. is this correct I Don't Want to Miss a trick ? and thank you so much can't wait till the next video

    • @RichardGeneTheFishingMachine
      @RichardGeneTheFishingMachine  7 лет назад

      Thank you Jim glad you enjoy my videos. I usually peg it with a rubber band but sometimes i don't I just let the bullet weight slip and hit the eyelet of the hook. Either way works fine! Love this comment Jim!
