Amazing! I've never caught a Kob on paddle tail in the surf and believe me I've tried even in the perfect conditions when other people are catching them. I only get luck with live bait not even occy leg. Kob seem to be very fussy on the southern coast. Which technique do you use when retrieving? I see they take very shallow too or were you casting into a gutter?
