Connor: “Don’t worry it’s canon.”
He was just holding it the right way up for the stream

Thank you Mudan, very cool
Honestly, Joey pulling out that Python without looking or reacting and then just saying, “Oh, it’s a snake.” is the most Aussie thing I’ve seen Joey do.
Damn so when it comes to the quiz
Joey has home turf advantage being Australian.
Connor is a big history buff and keeps up with world news frequently.
Garnt.
Garnt has wisdom and monk experience
Not to mention Connor keeps on mentioning how he heard this and that from Joey so Joey basically helped his opponent.

The set looks awesome, shame it won't be used for very long but you can see loads of effort went into it

The set was customised a lot of Trash Taste but I see the core setup here used by a lot of Twitch hosted streams in Sydney.
The camera quality is crisp AF

Brits about UK:
“This place sucks, this food sucks. I wanna live here”
Brits in Australia:
“Old bad stalls still here, snacks kinda mid. I wish I could stay longer.”
I see a pattern here
Aussie here, it's the weather that draws them in. lol

Garnt excitedly giggling and saying "Is so cute!" For every animal was very wholesome. 🥰
also was it me or were the animals were fond of Garnt?
It's the monk calmness.
Under 3 minutes in and Grant is recolonizing Australia.
This guest is such a delight omg. W/how enthusiastic and yet also calm he is with showing the reptiles, I’d 100% feel comfortable handling them with him around 👌
People who dedicate their lives to animals are usually the most wholesome and special ones 😊
as an aussie who hasn't been back home for almost 3 years living abroad..this stream has been a god-send
I dreamt last night that Joey's dad was a Mega Chad kangaroo. When I remembered what a baby kangaroo is called, I realized that reality was not too far off.
As an Aussie it’s weird seeing the boys finding all the wildlife interesting and weird because I find robins and moose to be really cool but I’m guessing any American would think that their the most boring things on the planet
As an American, I enjoy seeing the odd red Robin in the wild.
But Mooses are downright scary. They're not common in the west coast, but they're absolute units.
Honestly you overestimate how common moose are in most of North America. As a Canadian I can say I've only ever seen maybe 4 wild moose in my life all in Northern British Columbia
Mooses are weird to see and they are massive, they are know to be docile, but are so big that can actually hurt you just by walking if they clash with you.
@@TheNewRidore yes plus America is fucking massive. I've never seen a moose.

They probably won't.
It's the one that twitch basically set up for them, it's hella professional but also in Australia so its use will probably not be consistent. You will maybe see it in some of the newer norma trash taste episodes but after that... it will be gone forever.

Okay I'm not Australian, but a tim tam slam has always been the corner bites and drinking a very warm drink. Like hot milk or coffee/chai. Then as soon as the liquid gets into your mouth you quickly slam them into your mouth cause it's melting/getting soggy and it's so good. I never eat them any other way
Seriously, they talked in a previous episode about how they thought Tim Tams were not great so when they mentioned the slam I thought they'd finally get it. I haven't tried it with tea but it doesn't sound like a great combo to me, I think coffee is the typical drink but I do it with hot chocolate. And they didn't really even do it right. Joey didn't seem to know what a slam even was. Admittedly, I'm Canadian so maybe what I was taught isn't accurate but I find it hard to believe that it just means to slam the biscuit into your drink...
I was taught the same method as you and that wikihow article. I just take a small bite out of the center of each end (I find doing the corners makes it a bit harder), put one end in my mouth before lowering it into the drink, and as soon as the liquid gets through the Tim Tam into my mouth I slurp up the biscuit and eat it, no need to use your hands once you've got some practice. It's really good. I'm sad they don't get to at least try it properly...
@@imaytag yep. I don't know how garnt fucked it up. Joey literally said right before you have to put it right away in. I've never taken big bites like Joey, I would always do corners but just enough to break the biscuit and coating.
I could see the center being an option, but I think I'd bite it too much.
Yeah anything with dairy, I wouldn't do tea only. But chai is usually milk incorporated.
Yeah and I saw Sydney say she'd not do it or do it again on Twitter. But I think she was lied to. On the geex plus panel. Idk.
I just think it's so neat and unique and I don't think you can do it with any other biscuit/cookie.
Some have said they never do it cause it's messy. From the twitter replies to one of their post. I just find that hard to believe.
Yeah an Australian told me about it and linked me to a RUclips video and this was around 2008.
I really enjoyed the segment with the reptile expert, his enthusiasm and knowledge was really captivating

I’m not only glad to have another After Dark Episode of Trash Taste but to have it in Australia with the local wildlife as well
Most inexpensive excursion in Australia:
Catch reptiles in wild and wrap them around students
I actually knew the Camel thing from Uni where I had a course on invasive species.
The thing is, apparently Camels were imported to Australia first from Saudi Arabia, so help as pack animals in building railroads. Then after they were done, the Camels were just released into the wild, where they just formed a population that lives on today.
Now because Saudi Arabia bred racing Camels for such a long time, their genepool is kinda limited and they seem to get inbreeding effects and so on. There aren't any wild/unowned Camles there anymore, so they import the animals from Australia, to bring in fresh blood and also benefit from the toughness of the wild ones.
This may be my favorite TTAD episode. The chemistry between you guys and everyone else in the set and behind the camera is just so natural especially for being in a new set. There were many interesting topics and very informational. Good job boys!
Smiling from ear to ear when they were talking about Joey's cockatiel. I have 3 cockatiels and 2 lovebirds and they are all so different in personalities! They bring me so much joy everyday 💞
reptiles were sensing the welsh dragon in Connor
Having had several streamers in the past week ask what the “Crimpy” in Chicken Crimpy Shapes means, I want to say I’m very sure at this point that it refers to the “shape” of the shapes. I never had to think about it before but that’s the only conclusion I have.
Joey saying Pizza shapes are his favorite has just made me respect him even more.
Eating my pizza flavoured Shapes while watching the boys' Aussie special. Feeling patriotic even tho I'm kiwi
you listed the goana as a iguana which isnt the same thing, goanas is what australians call monitor lizards which this one was a lace monitor
Connor: maybe a lil cat
Garnt: *kinda likes the blue tongue*
The set and the video quality is so good i cant believe im watching trash taste after dark for a minute
Molasses is sugar scrap.
Basically, when you refine sugarcanes and sugarbeets into sugar, the leftovers are molasses.
It used to be super-popular in olden times, because sugar was fucking expensive.
Shout out for the guy who screamed " I DIDN'T INVENT IT" that cracked me up 😂 he matched the Bois energy so much he should be a guest on the next show lol
Was waiting for a Harold Holt question, and I was not disappointed by both questions. God I love the dumbest facts about this country.
About the orange and the Sydney opera house, I'm pretty sure the architect (Jorn Utzon) was just peeling an orange and had a sudden realisation about how a sphere could be arranged to make the sails of the opera house
I saw the word 'Australian' and clicked. I needed to know what these bois thought of my native animals.
I can't believe they tried Burger Rings but not Cheezels.
Also, Chicken Crimpy wins, by a landslide.
This has to be one of my favourite after dark streams. The production looks so professional. Shout out to twitch on the amazing setup!
It was nice to see Joey's dad show up on the 2nd half of the stream
One of my favorite episodes so far. Love the studio and the live animal segment
10:10 the thing i love about trash taste is that its not hyperprofessional - its somewhat professional but not super tryhard so it feels laidback and has a chill atmosphere
Oh man what an episode, I didn't want it to end.
All the reptiles being uncomfortable when held by Connor was so funny.
Andrew was such a cool guest too. I it seems unlikely to me that anyone had trouble understanding what he said (I'm not an Aussie and English is not my first language).
So good.
So glad to see the full episodes after seeing so many clips from the stream. Poor Connor too stiff with the animals I think and they can detect that he's Bri'ish, haha
I love how each episode proves why this is the best podcast on the internet
Connor's face every time an animal is revealed is one of shock and terror
That was one of the most wholesome Trash Taste Streams I've seen. The amount of times I went "awwr" (which was often) cannot be counted on both hands. ❤
The TimTam biscuit was created by Ian Norris and Alan Morrow. During 1958, they took a world trip looking for inspiration for new products. While in Britain, they found the Penguin biscuit and decided to try to "make a better one". - From Wiki.
The ingredients contain cochineal - a type of food colouring that comes from South American insects and has been known to provoke severe allergic reactions. - From DailyMail article.

one of my favourite things about being aussie is our rhyming slang.
in regards to harold holt going missing, when we ourselves are going to leave somewhere we sometimes say "im about to harold holt" as in "im about to bolt", in other words we're about to disappear.
this is such a good set. I love how they look, the image has such an high fidelity
The Dude with the animals was so nice and lovely about his passion. Props to him.
Finally!!! I missed the little extra sesh with the boys on TT after dark. Every time an after dark releases it’s like having a second Christmas
Great show, you guys have done a splendid job on your format
This is the first stream I caught online. Had a lot of fun!
Nice seeing them streaming again also it’s seeing some aussie culture & the many animals that live there
22:16 Ah yes, another moment where Garnt and Joey share the same braincell, thus having the same tastes
39:04 Ah yes, the pirate 🦜 power trip
I had a snake wrapped around my neck before when I was little. I was at a friend's birthday party and they invited a reptile expert who brought a bunch of reptiles to the party and we all loved it.
So glad to have After Dark back! The production value looks insane!
50 fps content feeling like an older TV show is very aesthetic.
Goanna ain't the same as an Iguana. Goanna is a term for monitor lizards in Australia, which from the features is clearly what is the last animal. Just a small point out and likely mistake and still great video!!
Ive recently become a bird nerd and love going out birdwatching. Hearing the boys talk about them is awesome!
Connor before meeting the trainer: "I've never seen nightmare on elm street."
*animal trainer passes Kruger*
"We've all seen the horror movie"
*Connor nods*
🤣
Funfact: all australian snakes are so venomous they don't need huge fangs or the other way round they needed potent venom because of their lack of fangs. Point being a pair of pants can stop any snakebite by an australian one.
Okay one, not all Aussie snakes are venomous, we also have pythons that have no venom but kill by constriction. Two, thin pants will only help with small snakes. Don’t go thinking you’re safe just because you’ve got any pair of pants. Really though just leave the snake alone. Humans are normally too big to be worth going after as food so a long as you don’t fuck with the snake they won’t fuck with you
The energy in this one was amazing. 10/10 5 mins in
This is one of the best episode, I was just having fun watching it on the livestream.
The video quality and lighting is actual insane!

this stream was extremely educational
Used to make a straw out of a kitkat in the same way. Kitkat chunky works brilliantly for this.
i got interested about the beer drinking record, and apparently in 1977 someone drank a liter of beer in 1.3s and that record to this date hasnt been broken. downright insane
Shout out to Australian fire Hawks that use wild fires to hunt rodents fleeing the flames
I love how everyone is simply having a good time talking and touching reptiles. The caretaker is sharing his passion and the boys are listening and showing a genuine interest. This is simply wholesome
57:25 yes, it is possible... sort of. the phenomenon is called Midnight sun, where in some places near the poles the sun will stay up throughout the night during certain periods of the year
This was an awesome stream!!
Love how Joey is casually wearing the same shoes that he wore at the wedding
That's his ONLY pair of shoes apparently, he was saying in another episode he planned to buy shoes in London for the wedding and never got the chance.
I remember when I found out you could use timtams as a straw for tea and I tested other biscuits to see if they'd work. It works really well for KitKats and chocolate fingers
thanks for bringing this to youtube, good stuff
