When I first saw the in game cutscene, that was intimidating as hell. But now, looking at what the traveler was doing during said cutscene, the only thing I feel is second hand embarrassment.
I will stand by this; if they wanted Arlecchino to look impressive, then they should’ve actually let the traveler show off his power. He put up more of a fight stopping a boulder. 💀
@@yuri_4951 agreed but I think it would be better to show the traveler go all out and still be beaten. IMO, the cinematic felt more like the traveler held back (didn't use elements). Childe's cinematic fight leading to his second phase(foul legacy form), showed the traveler use both elements and still didn't beat him before he got to the dragon.
Imagine playing Arlecchino's story quest without watching the Animated short , I feel like it would've been better if hoyo released the AS after like a few days or even weeks so they would give us time to experience it first hand without spoiling everything out the gate 🥶

i disagree, traveler is not strong enough to beat her even if he go all out using 5 elements at the same time, heck i even doubt he could beat base scaramouche, let alone his megazord form (literally getting killed 168 times but saved by nahida's simulation power) y'all overrating traveler when the fact is in ALMOST every boss battle he's involved, he wins it by power of friendship or help from godlike being. but if he gain his original power though...
A lot of people truly think that Arlecchino is a good parent figure and actually a good person and while she’s definitely not as bad as Dottore, she clearly isn’t the good person Hoyoverse want us to think. She finds and raises young orphans to make them train and fight opps, basically turning them into child soldiers for the fatuis’ sake. She’s grooming them by telling them that they are a ‘family’ and they have a deep connection between them so she can hide the fact that they didn’t have the choice but to fight for her when she ‘saved’ them as kids. They were abandoned kids, they had no one to rely on, no one to give them an actual place to call ‘home’ , food and health care. She’s just using them as tools and her plan went so well that she doesn’t have to be there all the time to know what is going on, the permanent climate of fear make her ‘kids’ betray each other.
At least she didn't just kill them, only just delete their memory. In addition, she actually help a nation rather than sabotage it unlike other harbingers. Saying she's grooming is exaggerating. Most orphanage in fountian we know are donation scam or human trafficking business. If it's not for her to hunt these orphanages down, these orphans will end in far worst fate. Training the orphans as soldier is the previous Knave method. Arlec only train them to be spies. if some orphan betray, she only just delete their memory and even change their identity for new livelihood. Fountain citizens are probably one of most inhuman in teyvat. They would rather enjoy drama of other pains than feeling pity. Neuvillette despite being a dragon, but he is more human in emotions and logic than these fountainians.
Chances are that the traveller do used his elemental power. Just because they dosen't showed us on the animation dosen't mean that he doesn't use it. People forgot that the animation only showed the end part of the fight but not the begining or the middle.
Ima predict way way later on Traveler will turn into a 5 star and when they're elemental light turns white, that's when they will be able to use all elements. Dispite the fact Traveler used wind and earth when fighting Childe

Pretty sure all the times fighting against something, we always had some type of help from others even against a dragon or gods. Has when one realizes at 2:08:57 that Arlecchino is holding down the Traveler. That there are red string holding them down. So they could have probably put up a good fight.

Actually I think for me it's better that arlecchino overpowered the traveller (my opinion)
