Also carried the trauma and guilt of Carol and Vautrin for 400 years to the point he thought the Melusines were still in danger. Only Wriothesley had the sense to ask him how much time had passed.
Clorinde also cares about him, thats why she always intervened first before Neuvilette. That guy really likes working alone, that's why for trivial problems like this, he wanted to handle it himself. They have synergy as trio lol

Its actually kind of ironic that the Fontaine people say 2 different race can't coexist, when they themselves are a different race to all the other humans.

I personally think that Neuvillette's quest is THE best one genshin has given us so far. Many others were great as well but this one has the writing, the pacing, the chartactes involved and the overall story just in a perfect balance. And there's Neuvillette in it so it's a win just for that tbh hahah

To those who are wondering, the conversation difference begins at the scene in 02:58, between those who finished Fontaine archon quest part 5 and those who don't/haven't finished yet. At first, Neuvillette ask Sedene to Inform "Lady Furina" about his absence while he's way investigate a case. But this time, after Fontaine Archon quest, after Furina's deity has no more, he stop mentioning about "Lady Furin" and Sedene was the one who will told anyone who want to meet Neuvillette about his absence without being told by Neuvillette.

Neuvillette's story quest is just so beautiful and istg the cutsceneis so so so good that it shows how happy he is even he did not say a single word.
