    Huatulco has AMAZING bays and beaches, so it's recommended to stay on or near the water most days - really outstanding beaches. The town is spread out and it's nice to have a car or transportation to get to everything conveniently. The main roads are two lanes in each direction with medians so they are safer than most roads around towns in Mex. for sure.

    • @VagabondAwake
      @VagabondAwake  3 года назад +3

      We just hate worrying about parking so we take taxis everywhere. They are cheap. Average fair is $1.75 USD (35 pesos). But we walk mostly. :-) The roads are better than most parts of Mexico. Thanks for sharing Dennis. :-) Dan

    Another great video.
    We visited Mexico 6 times, different city each time and we been to the the coastal and the central part of Mexico.
    We get stomach or even sick very often from eating the local food, even at nice restaurants. We learned that dont eat and drink anything that's uncook and washed with unfiltered water.
    So how do you deal with eating local food without getting sick ?

    • @VagabondAwake
      @VagabondAwake  3 года назад +3

      We almost never get sick. If you are eating from Food carts make sure the food is hot enough to kill bacteria. Of course, never drink the water or drinks with ice. It might just be that I have been eating in foreign lands so long that my body has developed some kind of immunity?

      When I was in the Army and had time off and went home for a week I would get sick off my mothers cooking when I returned to Military life after a week at home I would get sick with Army food.Each time I got sick it was just 2 or 3 days then my system would adapt to the food .This happened to me for 10 years while in the Army every time I had a change of food ,I would get sick for a couple days at least .When I got stationed in Germany same thing happened I got sick with the German food went home on vacation and got sick back to Germany and got sick.The point I'm trying to make it just may be a change in food and your body taking in different ingredients .
