Could definitely do with some more grip there. What tyres are you using?
Think the stock figure for a car without polestar is 6.8 so definitely thereabouts.
I want to dragy mine at some point when it’s fixed. It should be sub 5 with the diff and R888Rs on.

I'm running Bridgestone Turanza tyres which have about 3mm tread.
I hardly drive the car and it was my first few time trying to launch it. A better driver would definitely get a low 6 sec run. My gear change alone took almost a second 😂 I owned a stock C30 t5 prior to this. The polestar tuned car feels a lot quicker than the stock one, especially midrange.
The R888 tyres will definitely help with your launch. What mods are you running? A 4 sec run in a fwd manual car would be epic!

Draggy is not accurate at all Volvo C30 with the polestar tune will do 5.5-5.8 seconds to 60 all day long I don’t know about your dyno runs but you have to factor in drivetrain parasitic loss of about 20 to 30 % these cars were underrated from factory BHP figures is 260 to 270 at the crank I own a 2011 C30 Polestar R design and I’ve smashed anything from a Honda Civic type R to a Mercedes E300

Dragy is proven to be 100% accurate. I think you're forgetting that I have a manual car and figures are all dependant on the driver. I have admitted that a better driver will do 0-100 in 6 seconds. It is impossible to get 5.5-5.8 on a stock C30. Even a stock mk2 Focus RS will struggle to get those figures.
My dyno figures are correct when comparing to what power other cars make on this dyno. The dyno I use gives lower readings vs other dynos. I could take the car to a different "happy" dyno and make a lot more power. Don't believe everything you see on RUclips/magazines.

@@chucks_garage987 I meant a C30 with the Polestar tune will do those figures I mention I know because I’ve used a Racebox unit to get those figures on a cool day no elevation minimal wind high 13 on the quarter mile at a 103 that is with an automatic transmission low fuel and a driver automatic transmission on these cars has proven to be far superior to the manual and very reliable as long as you keep BHP figures under 500 after that you’d do well to have a more efficient transmission cooler as far as your dyno meter runs take a look at Matt Farrah’s video on his channel he’s done a few runs on a Polestar C30 as have I and he’s numbers are quite similar to mine the polestar tune is in the neighborhood of 260-270 brake horsepower

Wow those figures are very impressive, well done! I had no idea that the c30 could be that quick. Yes I have seen Matt's video with the blue C30. With better fuel and cooler temps, my car will definitely make more power on that dyno. On my first dyno run, the torque was 362nm, which will be 416nm if converted to flywheel power. That's a lot more than the 370 that Volvo quoted.

Hate to tell you this @waltervila33 but you're very wrong.
      A) 5.5 isn't happening on the street. Maybe on a prepped dragstrip with a massive clutch dump but in terms of street times a stock C30 even with a Polestar tune will not be getting a 5.5.
      B) 260 at the crank is possible for a Polestar but not more. Custom stg1 maps will make more like 270. The polestar tune is relatively mild.
      C) 20-30% is ludicrous drivetrain loss for a FWD. Try 15%. Even an AWD is more like 25%. That's why you think you're making 270bhp on a Polestar tune.
      D) The AW55 is superior for driving in slow moving traffic. Because you won't wear the clutch out. For everything else the M66 is far superior.

@@mcgherkinstudios A- you supposed my racebox unit is wrong let me break the news for you read my previous comment as the aforementioned naught to 60 times were done on a very tranquil day with minimal heat or wind so yes the car will do those times with a polestar tune.
B- dynamometers are subjected to their own software for computing data some reason higher or lower but the general consensus and this was corroborated by Matt Farrah’s video that the stage 1 tune which is the Polestar tune is good for 260-270 horsepower at the crank
C- you’ve mentioned that the manual which I’m a fan of and I very much prefer over the automatic is vastly better for everything else than the automatic this is simply not true whilst any enthusiast prefers the manual there’s no doubt that premise doesn’t apply here the auto is good for 500 horsepower with a better transmission cooler shifts
Faster with the torque limiter delete from Hilton and K16 turbo will see you dip into the low 4 second range maybe reach out to Rich forthsyte from Moose garage for some counsel and much needed research on your part cheers
