Kante and Varane for exemple were both much more decisive than Mbappe, but hey they are not forwards so nobody talk about them... You probably don't even know who is Kante...
I won't say that Mbappe is not a world-class player, but France had top players in EVERY position (as if top players like Varane, Hernandez, Umtiti, Pogba, Griezmann, etc... were crap and needed to be carried...). And Mbappe is still far of being the best forward in the world (it's laughable to compare him with Messi and Ronaldo while he is still miles behind...), while Kante is without a doubt the best defensive midfielder in the world, and Varane is easily top 5 full-back. Mbappe carried nothing, despite being a wonderfull footballer and still very young. He was very good during the tournament, but so was the rest of the French team...
If you believe Mbappe "carried" France, then you're a stupid boy knowing nothing about football and you just repeat the hype like a sheep. If tomorrow the medias start saying Mbappe is crap, you'll just repeat...
