Hands down I love ❤️ Better Homes and Gardens wax melts and Scentsationals. Price wise and quality most scents are awesome and last long. Can’t beat that price point either 😊
Great topic! I will say from a wax quality, I think Scentsy has the upper hand for sure. I have had some instances where it is nearly impossible to get the wax out of the clams with the Walmart brands. However, I have been struggling with Scentsy recently when it comes to actually being able to smell the $5-6 bar I am paying for! I have really cut back on buying from them and are purchasing a lot from Kringle. When their wax melts are on sale for $3 a bar, you can't beat it. Even at full price and using a 15% off code, it is still worth it for me since I am someone who changes their wax out every day. I'd love to see you do a comparison video of Scentsy vs. Kringle wax melts :-)
Thanks for sharing Dana! I definitely wish the price point was lower for Scentsy, which I think is why some are hesitant to shop with them. I really like the Kringle wax- will have to compare them in a video soon 😊
Excellent!! I'm glad you did this too!! I know about all of the pro's and con's already about the different brands but it still was nice for you to put it out here for everyone!! 😋😋😋😋😋. Michael.
I like both brands but love the price of the BH & G. Scenty’s mark up is getting quite pricey but I get it… they need to pay all the consultants in the downline. I wish that Scentsy would go full retail and end the MLM structure.
Consultants don't get paid if they don't sell. I am writing on my husband's page. He gets upset at all the decorating and candle videos that pop up in his feed. 🤣 Anyway, I just quit selling for Scentsy. It is super hard to do. A lot of people are anti-MLM. In order to show up on Scentsy's consultant search, you HAVE to have people under you. If you go to a consultant search, you will notice that there is only lead consultants and up. No Escential Consultants or Certified Consultants. I don't see how they get away with not being labeled as a pyramid scheme because they are constantly pushing recruitment. If you are not lead consultant or higher, you are treated badly. Like peons.
Great video! Definitely pros and cons to each. A big pro for BH&G is the accessibility. Scentsy does have beautiful warmers, though, among other great products. I’ll continue to purchase both brands. 😊
Thanks for sharing Laura! I also love the accessibility of BHG, getting to run up to Walmart when I need some wax melts and getting to smell them before purchasing! Love both brands!
I bought Vanilla Buttercream based on your opinion and Happy Birthday based on Melanie’s in my first order. I know you say you leave the burners on all day but I can barely smell them unless I put my nose right up to the warmers even at first melt. I had envisioned them replacing wallflowers but there is no comparison in strength between the two. Do you use the warmers in tiny rooms? I am not giving up but I’m disappointed in how weak they are.
Oh no, sorry you had that experience. I’ve never had Happy Birthday so I can’t speak on that one, but Vanilla Bean Buttercream is usually good for me. Vanillas are lighter than other scents like fruits, florals, or fresh. I also use 5 warmers at once throughout my house to improve the fragrance.
Yes! Haven’t placed an order in months because I stocked up earlier this year for the spring and summer, but I will be placing a fall order very soon! I’m running low now!

Thanks for sharing!! It’s definitely worth it for the price if you like the product!

Oooo glad you did this!!
It’s such an interesting topic!!
Thanks for the comparison. How long do you melt each wax per day. 4hrs? 8hrs?
Thanks! I would say about 10-12 hours on average per day. I leave them on throughout the entire day.
I love both brands… especially love the BH&G price point!

Are you still melting and purchasing Scentsy?

Thanks Connor!

What kind of wax does better homes and gardens use?
I believe paraffin. It’s a harder wax
