    No we do not glue carpet in place. GM did not back in the day. The only time we do use an adhesive is when using the fol back sound deadener as it creates a slick surface. Otherwise your carpet will sit still once installed and all the mounting points are in place without movement.

    Another easy way is to install all the bolts then set the carpet then you can find where to cut easily

    You guys rock thanks a lot for all the videos saves me a lot of money, keeping post more. Just purchase my first 79 trans am and will be purchasing a lot of parts from your company, is there a way to make a video on how to remove the bumpers off the car front & rear and how to remove & install a head liner from a non t-top model would be very useful #happynewyears as well.

    Really good video. Do you recommend CutPile or Loop for my 1973 Formula? I do not intend to do a restoration so it wont have to be the standard type for that year.

    I wish I could see how the carpet guard goes on . I have one and don't know how it goes in .
