How to read a water meter

Hmm, not the reading I get. I come up with 42.782 In the X10, the pointer is between the 4 and 5 so must be 4. In the x1 gauge, the pointer has not yet reached the 3 so it must be a 2. Again, in the X0.1 gauge, the pointer hasn't quite reached the 8 so must still be a 7. etc etc etc. I guestimated the 2 in the .001's place.

Hello sir.. I just want to ask about our meter this month.. The situation goes like this.. last may 21,2021 the water station replace our old meter.. On june 4,2021 the bill is amouting 400 pesos something, and on july 4,2021 its amounting 1100 and more. Now its again 1100 more.. my question is this.. On july 4,2021 the meter number goes number 00034.. Now august 4 the number is 00089.. where is the point here? is it rigth sir? I will send the actual potage of my meter to show it..because last month we consume 55 cubic meter and now is 34 cubic meter. Is the water reading rigth sir? I hope you can explain to me it clearly..
