I love when Vessel does this kind of covers. Simple and raw. Just his keys, his voice and his Soul. He also can do songs with a Lot of details and production. He is a true artist ❤
It’s the collaboration I never thought I needed… two of my favorite bands… giving us this haunting rendition of the Loathe original from I Let It In And It Took Everything, and one of my favorites on that 2020 album… I have been listening to it on repeat for hours now and I still get goosebumps… Vessel’s vocals and piano with Kedeem’s vocals in the background… perfectly producing melancholy and chills. This was a pleasant surprise for sure
Well THAT was fast.... 😆 I am still kind of processing this one. It just hits in such a haunting way. I think I feel the same as you. I'm at a loss for words. The harmonies are just beautiful. My favorite thing about Sleep Token is that you never know what to expect and this is no exception. The delicacy of those atmospheric tones in the background add so much depth to the song. And the chorus has been stuck in my head all day. I think what I like most about this is how deliberate and intentional all the nuances feel. It doesn't sound like a cover or something they just cobbled together on a whim. It sounds like every note was considered, like every moment was engineered to elicit a very very specific sort of beautiful melancholy. This will be on constant repeat for the next week in my house. Truly outstanding work, IMO.
you explained it perfectly man. honestly just seeing my favorite two bands collab on a song like this just gets me so emotional. I’m at a loss of words as well man!
Actually this is a cover of a brilliant Loathe song and words called is it really you and Sleep token rearranged it beautifully into more accoustic piano and how beautiful a vocalist Vessel is from Sleep Token.
Loathe’s original Is it really you is a total homage to Pink Maggit by Deftones, Vessels stripped down version sounds even more like Deftones lol like Pink Maggit and Anniversary of an Uninteresting event
I don't think this is a collab, just Vessel doing his take on Loathe's original song. And, because it's Vessel, it's fucking heartrending and beautiful all in one
A video I needed today. My favourite song of this year so far and you're my favourite reactor. Your channel deserves to blow up and it shouldn't be much longer!
A comment I needed today. You’re very kind to take the time to say so. I’m really pleased to hear you’ve been enjoying what I’m doing here. Thanks for the support!
I guess the best part of ignorance is having no expectations (which for me, means no disappointments either). Loved the vocals individually but together.......well....what Craig said.....
You can't listen to Sleep Token with expectations about what you're about to hear - you have to cultivate "beginner's mind" each time, and it's delightful!

I've listened to this song a thousand times, but every time his voice comes in, I fall in love once again.
This chorus could literally make me cry. It's beautiful !
Haha I cried for real the first time I heard this😅 Still do actually!
Same
Worship
It all Vessel and his piano 🎹
Absolutely stunning! ❤
I was smiling throughout the entire song... so beautiful

yeah...that's a great comment.....I was thinking those things but would never be able to say it like that....
My favorite band covering my other favorite band. Incredible.

Thanks for explaining what is very fucking apparent👏💀
@@haydenhendricks2155 Sorry it looks like I'm being a know it all huh?? Not meant to offend anyone or anything, no need to be a douche about it
Its actually vessel covering this song by loathe

Yeah could be. As I listened I did think the vocal all sounded like Vessel… but then the Loathe singer can have moments of similarity in tone.
It was. Loathe's asking other bands to cover this specific song and ST was the third to release a cover.
Wow!
Absolutely love Loathe, never heard of Sleep Token

Though, for what it’s worth, I don’t mind if the channel doesn’t “blow up” so to speak. I’m having a blast at the level it’s at. It’s a lovely size 😁
Although i do prefer the original because i heard it first and it spoke to me. But this is a VERY awesome take on it.
Loooovvvvveeeee this

“Beginner’s mind”. I like it. Nicely put Yilo.
I absolutely love his voice and his differentness.
Unbelievably beautiful.
