i had an earlier version of the standard gun: build quality was horrible. fore-end would shake loose and slip from side to side, wood to metal fit was not great - some notable gaps. Needed a fair amount of work to fix fore-end and even GMK struggled to find a way to tighten the metalwork. Trigger blade would slip. Both firing pins needed to replaced but a lovely gun to shoot. Even lovelier to get a full refund.
It’s good to see the splinter forearm. One can wrap fingers around the barrel. Too bad it doesn’t have double triggers.
Nice. I didn’t even know Beretta had a SxS 486 line and I have a Beretta O/U 686 Silver Pigeon.
Well Bywell have a lovely used 30” on the wall along with a selection of new ones ready for export…
Beautiful shotgun! Thanks
Another beautiful gun with a review to match 👍
Great review Lloyd! That nice 👍
Engraving looks great. Def’ improvement on the first 486. Great gun
When they bring in the lead ban, will you need to upgrade the pencil to steel @1:34?
What’s a pencil? I’m American. I assume all Berettas have been fine shooting steel shot for many years. All mine have been going back several decades.

Tastefully scrolled and I prefer beaver tail and pistol grip to shoot. But love the look of this model.
486 بندقية جميلة جدا وخاصتا المقبض الأنجليزي شكرا على العرض
Two things comes to mind to balance the perspective on this fowling piece, that would be wild birds and trained hunting dogs.
Very nice gun
Lookin nice! 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you sir.
Nice review. Who actually makes it? Hint, the actual maker sells for $2K less.
Beautifull firearm but I also like a Beavertail.
Forend wood left proud of the iron. Just looks bad.
So expensive
Cheap side by side
Clearly you are a man of means. How does it compare to your Purdey?
Great value for money at £4k. Last week I saw 486 SxS advertised @ Bywell for £4,565
£5k sorry
