Nice family. Everyone looks so happy. I miss the days when my mom and I would bake cookies together. She too, made these amazng cookies. Thank you, Nonna, for sharing your time with us in your kitchen. I am a stranger, yet feel like part of your family cause we share the same back ground and traditions...❤

Icing sugar has some corn starch mixed in and powdered sugar is just ground sugar the corn starch in icing sugar prevents it from clumping and has a long shelf life .
@@annmariejones12110 I followed recipe to the tee. I lake that I can use the whole egg. Those cookies become favorite in our house. They are perfect companions for afternoon coffee. Once again, thank you sharing.
Thank you nonna for sharing your recipe I Love ❣ these almond cookies had these growing up with our Italian neighbors will be making this for Christmas God bless you 🤗
Icing sugar has a bindind agent such as corn starch. My childhood friend who lived next door whose family was from Sicily had a grandmother who always baked cookies for Christmas. She would always give us a plate of various homebaked cookies.
Excellent recipe. I made my own almond flour also just by putting a whole bag of almond into a blender and it turns this into almond meal (almond flour) Your recipe is fast and delicious. Im from Melbourne Australia and made so many so i will share with friends. Thank you so much :)
It looks very nice, how many cookies can we obtain with this recipe? the cocoa change the flavor of the cookie? as well, I saw many Amaretti recipe with just the whites of the egg, putting the complete egg it make more nutritious cookie? or what it's the reason or you don't know. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe!!
Holiday greetings from Montreal!!. We can’t have big family dinner this year but I’m going to bake and distribute them to my friends and family. Thank you for the recipe 🎄🎅🏼❄️🥰
thank you thank you looks so yummy I can't wait to make it I love almond cookie God bless you all love you all I am a proud grandma I love everybody I feel like you're my sister and your children are my children God bless all of you please stay safe these days I said God is great God is great amen
Made my own almond meal with a food processor. The mixture must be dry enough to keep the cookie shape from melting flat while baking. I need to try an *adult* batch with Amaretto. This recipe should adapt easily for making *anisette* cookies.
Great. I just watched your Sausage video because i literally video taped my dad doing sausages yesterday. We basically did the same, but my dad didn't add the wine. He should have added them wine. Next time.
Yes ! In Toronto , January is the month to make sausage, salami, capicolo, prosciutto , anything pork goes on sales after new year ! The weather is ideal to cure meat in the cantina ( cellar)
Yehhhhhhhhhh Wow yummy yummy I’m gonna make it today God bless you all Q thank you and God bless you all I can’t wait to make it stay safe wherever you all are God bless you and your family amen ✝️🙏🥇✝️🙏🌹💐🌹🙏✝️🥇🥇
If almonds are expensive, go to Cosco or Sams Club and buy a large bag, I think 7 or 10 dollars. Make your own almond flour, and whole almonds to garnish from the same bag..
These look good. I am in Montreal, I will try these for Christmas. Do I really have to put coco? If I don’t, will they still turn out good? Thank you for posting.
Thank you thank you I love your video your cookie today I am going to make it God bless you all your family and all the people around the world amen🥰👏🥇✝️🙏✝️🥇✝️🥇✝️🙏🥇💝❤️🌹🌹💐🌹💐🌹
Why would you use toasted almond they would be so bitter do it the right way and don't waste your roasted almonds get the ones with almond doing which is much cheaper ask the bakery in the store to grind them for you just add a couple spoons of coco powder the ARE just as expensive as recipe you make with a whole butter
@@annmariejones12110 I meant to say toasted whole raw almonds in a fry pan for a few minutes. Let them cool, then put the whole almonds in a food processor nd grind away. Much cheaper using whole raw almonds.
@@annmariejones12110 , what is exactly COCO ? I am in Germany and that doesn’t exist here . Is it coconut and chocolate mixed up ? It must be an american invention because original Italians don’t use such a thing .

Hello did you try these cookies
Instead of grated almonds, Can store bought ‘Almond Flour’ be used?
Very delicious! Just a bit concerned about the *EGG* which may not be cooked enough at 10 - 12 minutes.

Please put size of bag of icing sugar. Some people-buy at bulk food stores so dont know how much is in bag. Tx
Out here there are only little cans of icing sugar....no bags!!
