I live about a mile and a half from the terminus of the original trail in Sacramento CA. Horses and riders have to deal with the Sierra mountains to get here. It's a glorious site when that last rider comes in. Have a great ride.

I like how he started the torch to weld, chuckle..I think its awesome your taking Harley...having treated a horse with navicular and wearing pads.the pine tar mix he's using works AWESOME. Pine trees are invaluable in naturopathy treatments. Take tons and tons of videos pics of the ride. Memories like that are awesome...worth the gas, time..and for SARs. At least you know now what training Harley needs ......

Yes,it was definitely Miss Duchess. She was my absolute favorite horse on the farm and I was so sad to see her move on I haven't even watched her leaving the farm. I hope she's happy.

the LA equestriarn center is being a horse rescue center for all the horses being rescued from the fires wether with owners or not its where the firemen, police,owners or people are dropping them off.

If you can’t shoe, can use hoof boots, they are fantastic, endurance riders use them too
