Dark matter gray GT is for me one of the best colours. Its not look provocative but looks classy. In different Daytimes looks different. Really love it.
I have dark matter grey aND love it you took the words out of my mouth.
First owner of a 2024 Ecoboost with the grey color, I’ve had the last 2 generations of Mustangs the same color as well, love it very much. Sad to see it go.
Guess Ford is getting tired of selling cars with all these increases. People will probably wait and buy used.
Losing yellow and blue is awful. These 2 colors were the best ones they had! Doggone dealers wont order them so i blame the dealers for ordering in just the boring colors in the false belief the bright colors wont sell. Leads ford to believe they arent popular. We should have 15 color choices like the 60s. How about multiple interior colors too, not just dull black or drab grey. Uggh. More white? Damn near everything on the road is white
@@howebrad4601 💯% agree!
I agree. I have a yellow 2015 gt premium, 6 speed.
I have a Oxford White, really wanted a Rapid Red but could not find one within 250miles in my area of the country at the time of purchase. I feel like most dealers just aren't ordering these colors and it is a reason for them being discontinued.
Spring time yellow from years ago. My favorite was my '13 5.0 deep impact blue.
I have the dark matter gray GT, and I absolutely love the color. Looks black at night, and gray in the sun. I wonder why they’re getting rid of it
It is my FAVORITE color!
I think the dealers discounts gonna be deep. Some dealers are already discounting the 2024s up to 5k
I have a 17 GT in lighting blue and love it. Truly a stand out color.
Amazing color!
yeah me too 17 lighting blue!
I've never been happier to own a 2022 rapid red GT
I agree about the colors. The color options for 2025 are really disappointing. I especially miss the metallic red and yellow options.
Dark matter grey was one of the best ones ugh. Poor decision making. They need to bring back royal crimson.
I have a 60th anniversary limited edition mustang Oxford white I love it ❤️❤️❤️
Contrary to what you stated in the video it actually does matter if you want a manual that they made the auto included. They increased the price of the trim $2700 and the 10 speed was only a $1650 option before. So even if you wanted a manual now you have to spend $2700 more to get the same transmission that you would have gotten on a 2024 year base model for free. This is an absolute tragedy and a gouging of the consumer. It won’t be long for Ford if they continue at this pace I fear. 😢
Good point. I saved over $1500 getting a manual
Love my 22 GT in DarK Matter Grey, I get many compliments on the color.
NO REGERTS?😮
@@michaelcrowley1172 I meant to say compliments 😀
@WilliamKopchia just kidding 😂, GODBLESS
@@michaelcrowley1172 😀
Loved that Atlas Blue ...perfect
waiting for eruption green, hopefully they bring that color back!
Great color!
Video very informative just subscribed 👍
I own a 2022 GT Premium and I just added to my stable a 2024 Ecoboost Premium with a performance package and both ponies are in Atlas Blue. They both have brembo brakes with red calipers and both have the 10 speed R80 with 3.55 gears. Love them both.
Molten Magenta looks like the old Laser Red when the tint coat starts to fail.
I have a 2024 Dark Horse Jet Black, black out brembos, navy blue interior. Love my car. Took it on a 7 hour drive two weeks ago and was a awesome drive. Highly recommend it. I love the big screens too they grew on me. Its sad that Ford is getting rid of those colors I wonder if they just didnt sell well in the 2024 models?
I own the 2024 Mustang GT base model. Got it in a manual. Was my first manual car so I was learning manual. I got it the day they came out. I just put in an order for the 2025 Mustang GT and opted for the premium as an Automatic. I was going to get the 60th anniversary addition, but the options are so limited that I couldn't get the packages I wanted. The 2024 is nearly paid off. The only thing I didn't like is the different color brembo brakes require the performance package which I didn't choose to get as I plan on upgrading all those parts myself and for roughly the same cost.
Apples to oranges but these cars are creeping into C8 territory. No brainer at that price point. Wonder if the market will heat up for used S550 cars. Better looking car and without the iPad dash. Also a no brainer.
Oh for sure. S550 is far superior
I love my S550 in Orange Fury convertible with 401a which has the digital gauge cluster.
Glad I bought a used 2024 GT manual with 8,500 for $41,990. It has the active exhaust, 301a package and racing stripes!
You showed Race Red. That one is staying. Rapid Red is the bright maroon metallic color.
They have slower depreciation now for sure, I think that plays a part in the increase.
Another color is the Brittany Blue on the 2025 GT Premium 60th Anniversary model which is a limited edition. Only 250 of this color will be made.
Ford is notorious for revolving colors on the Mustang.
I bought a s650 premium GT in vapor blue, performance pack, nite pony, 401A, magnaride, active exhaust and oem all, weather floor mats so I’m willing to bet my car with the same options is going to be crazy priced for the 2025. I was going to wait for the 2025 but glad I didn’t.
The Dark horse premium will be marked up by STEELER SHIPS by $30k. I’ll keep my stage3 Roush
I’m still trying to get over the loss of the 2021 antimatter blue. Thankfully I own an antimatter blue Mustang GT!
@@dychejs also a great color
Welp. I guess I’m not getting any Mustang past 2024😂🤷🏾♂️Great video man👍🏾
Thanks 😁
Got mine just in time it seems!
YELLOW was my 1st choice!
@@MrMorton2u such a great color on the mustang!
I really liked the canary yellow and sapphire blue from the early SN95 models.
i just bought a 24 for what i would consider affordable to see the prices go up kinda hurts because these cars are supposed to be easier to get that your high end muscle cars in the 50-60k range. the interior upgrades were amazing 100% but its still a mustang. side note mine is grabber blue losing that metallic red hurts i loved that color
The two new colors would go well with the bronze trim.
I have a '24 GT Premium Convertible in Rapid Red. I love it and not a fan of Race Red. The Molten Magenta looks like a deep red so it might be an OK replacement for the Rapid Red. Will have to see it in person. I wish they brought back the Ruby Red. My '18 F-150 was in that color and really pretty.
I like both yellow and blue. I think the price of new vehicles is crazy
I’m thrilled i got my gt500 in mischievous purple 💜
I priced a fully loaded ‘24 and it was $64k… then a ‘25 fully loaded which was over $67k AND they took away the color I wanted. I never buy a new car model on its first year. I wait 1 year model in case there’s any problems they need to address. So my question is if I’m paying for max options then why am I being charged an extra $3k with literally 0 new features? Standardizing equipment is good but not when you’re offsetting the cost by taxing the customers who were gonna pay for those options anyway. For $67k I can get a brand new BMW M2 that will smoke even the Darkhorse on the street and on the track, comes with way better build quality, and comes with tech 5+ years ahead of American vehicles. Ford was already playing with fire touching German performance car territory with the 2024 prices but now they’re just rubbing it into the consumer’s face.
Pricing themselves out of buyers especially with insurance going higher as well.
I was going to get a GT premium in rapid red. Ended up in a GR Corolla, which I love. But planned on still getting a red GT in a few years. Sad thats off the table for now.
Thank goodness I went with a new 23 gt premium last year. I dont hate the 650 but when I seen it, I decided to buy a 550.
I have the yellow splash metallic and love it
69k for a dark horse. No thanks. I'll just get a C8.
a rational and sane person right here
Here in Texas Dark Horse is 73k
Hawaii Dealers add approx $8K+ to the MSRP . Much higher on the premium models. No wonder 2024 models are rotting in the hot Hawaii weather.
I wish they restored Grabber Lime. I love such quirky colors on a car. Also, they need to introduce the 4-door sedan variant which they considered. The reason for this despite the controversy is to fill the void for the previous Dodge Charger which was the most popular American sedan since it was a 4-door American V8 muscle car for both traditional performance and room for the family at the same time.
Wish they have those lower prices in Philippines because we have 60-70k usd
That dark matter gray metallic is the most beautiful color, I have a 04 mustang GT automatic 4.6 dark shadow gray and a 14 mustang GT sterling gray 6 speed and they are all most the same color and that 24 would be perfect for me I have seen that color in the eco boost but not in 5.0
Since there is no more competition from Camaro & Challenger, it was obvious that Mustang prices would increase this year!
Altas blue is nice
I Like The Dark blue almost Black color and Ford Had it on The Ford Ranger and got rid of it also . FORD STOP TAKING AWAY OR FAVORITE COLOR Choices.
My mustang gt is grabber yellow/yellow peal. Only brought it back in 2021. Last time before that was 1971.
Own an 05 Screaming yellow. Test drove the 24 Yellow and could barely see the metallic. So for me I passed since I already had yellow. Still a terrible loss for those who want it. Still haven't got my 24 as my company recently had a mass layoff so im holding onto my biscuits until dust settles. Sadly. I need something new.
The thing that really kills me is the 24’s could have a bunch of color options for the brembos and the 25’s have red with white letters or blue with grabber blue letters… really would rather just get grabber blue with white letters, blue on blue is a weird combo and a bit much visually I think
Going up 2400 not even a week's pay for some. My DK a 2024 premium sticker almost 80k
If you're waiting for the 10-speed price drop on a new car you've customized and ordred yourself, give it about a week. I looked at the Ford website yesterday and they haven't updated it yet.
This further solidifies in my mind that the best mustang purchase right now is a nice clean one owner 2018+ S550.... prices have been going down ... and for me.. i like the s550 style much better. I also am factoring in that post pandemic Ford quality these days seems to be on par with Fiat....
The yellow one hurts me, I was planning to get that one.
They have a new yellow lime metallic for 2025
Loosing the blue is just dumb
Wimbledon white is a heritage color going back to 1965.
Have a 2024 Atlas Blue Mustang GT. Love the blue. Added white Le Mans Stripes and really makes the car POP. Why get rid of a blue everyone seems to love?
That's a good question 🤔
I have a rapid red metallic convert eco boost and it stands out. Kinda glad I have it and no one else will. Is that bad?
Nope. We are all allowed to be a little selfish haha
Atlas Blue and Yellow Splash are a loss! We don't need anymore shades of blah that already exist on every car on the market.
I just tried to build a 2025 and it doesn't show the new red you talked about.....
Great show BRILLIANT very interesting I love the colour of my 2019 Mustang GT velocity blue but I can’t get it on the new one thank you very much for a fantastic report from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 😢😊
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it! Also Velocity Blue is another of my top colors. Great choice!
i have an atlas blue gt i would be pissed i honestly went with a base gt over the premium black and the other red. It was worth it. New colors are meh no reason to drop the yellow or atlas blue. Though they were hard to find and there aren't many out there.
I special ordered my Atlas Blue Ecoboost, and everybody loves the color. I guess my car is going to be rare.
This is really sad news to see the colors Ford is dropping from their line up. I live in Sydney Australia and ordered a GT in 2023 December. I still haven’t got a build date yet, so it will be a 2025 model that will arrive. But I did ordered it in Atlas blue. To be honest, I didn’t like any other color from the line up, so if I can’t get it in this color that will REALLY hurt…😢
Fingers crossed for you 🤞
i wouldnt get yellow on my car but its sad to see it go, i like seeing other cars in yellow at car shows and such
Magneride suspension needs to be a separate option.
You show race red not rapid red in your video and colors being cancelled fyi
Bring back Kona Blue or Antimater Blue !!!
So how much did the prices increase between 2023 and 2024? Apparently not enough in Ford's opinion. With the overall massive increases in car prices in the past 5 years and the economy headed downhill, not to mention very anemic Mustang sales so far in 2024, it is hard to reconcile this. The only thing I can think of is Ford believing they are in the cat bird seat with the Challenger and Camaro both having been discontinued.
I'm still driving my 3Valve B302 with 555 to the wheels don' want another mustang.
IDK why the increased... I barely see any new mustang in the freeway. maybe it's not really sellable?
the 4 we are losing is mutch better then the 2 that we are getting
For sure
The only two colors i was considering was Atlas Blue or Rapid Red. I thought these were their best colors is Ford trying to go out of business?
I think your Dark Matter Grey picture was actually Carbonized Grey. And your Rapid Red was actually Race red lol
At $70k Corvette any day!!!!!
Maybe the crazy profit margins on the F150s aren't enough to subsidize the money lost on the Mach-E, so they want Mustang purchases to chip in more.
You said the Gt went up but you get the 301a package standard… you do not it’s $2,300. On top of price increase. Automatic trans is no longer $1,500 option. Price jump is rediculous.
Fair point
BMW, Audi, BMW, Audi.
Ford quality control is laughable at best. Hard pass on anything near these prices. It may be the only V8 in its class, but you have the BMW M2, Supra Turbo, Nissan Z, Corvette C8, Audi RS series. All with a lot better quality than Ford.
From research. It appears the 2025 Mustang GT has at least a $1000 increase from the Gas Gussler tax courtesy of our Federal Government.. I reviewed the base 2025 C8 and discovered the price showed an increase of $2000 plus shipping. Even the Honda odyssey mini van had a $3680 price increase for 2025 due to the drop of their base EX model and some updated tech.
Glad I scooped an atlas blue
Is the exterior gonna be changed?
No
We lost Splash Yellow?
damn Damn DAMN!😫
I love Mustangs up till 2015. Would NEVER own a 2023-2025 version. It's doesn't even look like a Mustang. Thanks Ford for making the older Mustang resale values increase.
Yellow is a hideous color on any car glad it's gone and so excited for this pink.
There's only two situations on one of your car can support yellow One a classic muscle car from the '60s or whatever or two by a foreign car like a Lamborghini that's it no for no matter what model it is of current time should be yellow
I own a blue ember dark horse. Doesn't matter the color the quality is so poor the paint delaminates from the undercoat and ford warranty refuses to cover the flaking of their paint
@@TheKickinmonkey that blows my mind that Ford won't Warranty the paint 🤦♂️
Ford will end up pricing the mustang out of the market and will end up having to stop selling them because people can’t afford the high prices
I have a 2020 and besides the engine the build quality is crap and it didn’t change with the refresh. My wife’s 2019 Chevy equinox is built so much better. $47 for base gt is outrageous. I’m glad I got my fully loaded PP2 for $49k.
I’m a Bigger fan of the VAPOR BLUE.
The first colour your eye is attracted 2 is YELLOW,so.
I wonder if that have something to do with it,and most cars stolen r red so..red first, yellow cars next
I really loved the yellow color ! SMH 🤦🏾♂️ ford
Atlas blue😢
Out of the colors we are losing: The red is a bad choice to lose I think....not that I would buy it, but it looks better than the red they are bringing in. The gray is bland. The blue was okay , but not great and the yellow looks like it was washed out it in the sunlight.....kinda like it was already slightly faded. The new colors coming in, none of them do anything for me. The 2 new colors are blah. The current two best colors are Black and the Grabber Blue. I think they should have brought back their Grabber Orange and their Grabber Yellow instead.
70k for N/A CAR? No thanks.....
I was hoping for an orange! 60th anniversary and they offer less colors than 2024. Disappointing.
I would love for them to bring twister orange back! My favorite color on the the Shelby GT500
