Don’t forget the sand paper
Use a wire wheel attachment on a drill to get it down, then use chassis saver to paint over everything. Do the whole frame and underbody, but be careful bc it doesn’t come out of clothes

Just a recommendation but using tow haul mode would probably prolong the transmission's torque converter by locking it up in 2nd instead of 4th and you won't be sitting on redline.

Mike just a little advice, when you do a pull, throw your truck in tow/haul mode. It will lock up your converter in 2nd which will put down all the power. Should also make the shifts a little firmer as well.

Wow, that trans slippage. The tach was staying at redline like a CVT. Change the fluid and see if you can turn up the line pressure.

Duramaxs go Into limp mode the second they see any trans slip. Due to the allusion trans being so sophisticated. It throws and incorrect transmission gear ratio code and then goes into limo mode

Ya I’ve got a similar setup on my lifted 03 Duramax and I put my transmission into “Limp Mode” the first time I had it turned all the way up. Be careful, I’m saving for a Suncoast stage 5 for mine. Good luck.

Had 03' Crew cab dually with 22 1/2 inch semi rims Alcoa's. Had my programer set on 3 or 4 usually transmission lasted about 8-10 months before I replaced it. I got a stage 5 suncoast converters tranny cost $8000 installed by them. 900 mile round trip from my house.
I was literally about to go sleep and this popped up. Now I'm not sleepy no more 😂

@@Slednex700 keep in mind the truck only has 40k miles this isnt the usual 200k mile truck people usually put these tunes on and grenade the trans. He will probably get quite abit of use out of it still

Justin Zrelak LLY headgaskets are quite rare. They are either bad or good; it is not a problem with all or most of them. I drive my LLY on the 150 and 250 tune all the time.

Mike, the number 6 cylinder is the 3rd one back on the right side if you are facing the front of the block. #1 is the first one on the left, #2 is the 2nd one on the right, number #3 is the 2nd one back on the left, and so on, back and forth thru #8.
So while facing the front of the block, on the left bank from front to back you have cylinders 1, 3, 5, 7 and on the right bank you have 2, 4, 6, 8
