Join us for our first day on the Norwegian Encore that sets sail from Seattle on a 7 night Alaskan itinerary. Today is embarkation day! We board the NCl Encore and explore a little bit of what the ship has to offer!
This cruise was recorded between October 22, 2023 through October 29, 2023. This was the last sailing to Alaska for the season.

This was so much fun and really exceeded our expectations for a late October sailing to Alaska!
We did this trip on the Encore in May 2023. It was fantastic. We’re going on the Norwegian Gem in January
That’s great! Encore is a great ship! This one was definitely a surprise for us!
We saw so many more humpback whales on our Mexican Riviera cruise and we ever saw in Alaska! And we were there in end of June and beginning of July which is the whale season in Alaska.
Maybe they were heading up to Alaska for the season? We are wanting to do Hawaii to see them in the winter

Had a great time on this cruise last year. The Encore is a very nice ship.
First time seeing your channel. Thanks for sharing the Encore ship! We will be sailing on Encore in 2025 to Alaska.
Two small suggestions:
1: Taylor kept interrupting her husband which is distracting.
2. Her husband complained over and over about the closet. Once is enough.
I will watch a few more before subscribing since the adult beverages could have had a negative effect. 😉
I'm going on Sep 29-Oct 6, 2024 to Alaska on the NCL Encore, can't wait.
The Norwegian Jade also has the mojito bar. Love Norwegian. Alaska is a great experience. Have a safe trip.

Yes same as the dawn and or pearl. This location on the Encore wasn’t my favorite but I won’t pass on unlimited mojitos!

That’s an excellent question! Yes they do! Some may be specific to a certain bar.
Was the cabin a Club Balcony Suite?
This cruise seemed pretty laid back. I've only been on one cruise and there was way too many people on it.
Icon has the same, but it's a door 😢
Great video and info. One thing I would like to ask about. Are there electrical outlets at the bed so a Cpap unit can be plugged in for sleeping?
Typically we call Norwegian for our clients and let them know they will be bringing a CPAP and if there aren’t outlets near the bed, NCL will provide you with an extension cord on embarkation day.
Great video! What’s your recommendation on RCL or NCL ship for first Alaskan cruise? Thinking of going late May next year. Heard RCL ships have enclosed pools. We love Prima last April (Bermuda). Our 15 yr old son will join us. We usually sail RCL mega ships to Caribbean. Thank you!

Quick question … what hotel did you stay at prior to cruising?
We have stayed at the State Hotel and the Hilton Seattle. Both are down town and a short ride to the ports.
Are you able to book golf trips to Orlando or just Disney/Universal/ Cruises?
