I've been trying this method and what isn't mentioned here is that inkjet printers that use dye-based ink don't print on fabric as well as printers that use pigment-based ink. The dye based ink will print on cotton fabric but can look washed out depending on the fabric and settings used when printing. Also, be aware of the edges of the fabric coming away from freezer paper causing a jam in your printer. It takes some trial and error depending on the fabric, the freezer paper, the printer, the type of ink, and the printer settings. I found with an epson ecotank 2710 and Reynolds freezer paper, I had best results with a looser weave fabric, the "photo quality" setting (not premium glossy photo paper), and needed to add double stick tape to the edge of the fabric/freezer paper to get it to feed through the printer properly.
I'm looking for a new printer, and it's almost impossible to find one that uses all pigment ink unless you pay a lot and get a print only printer. If anyone has up-to-date recommendations, please post them!
Oh thank you thank you thank you! I’ve wanted to make personalized small pillows for girlfriends and FINALLY you have taught me the very idea I’ve had!
I am considering doing this for heat bags that will be put in the microwave. will the printed image hold up overtime after it has been heated multiple times
I used the Ink Jet T-shirt transfer paper. I followed the directions but the picture was "crackly" It didn't say anything about using the Bubble 2000 stuff that you mentioned. I just noticed that mine isn't printable fabric. Mine is just T-shirt transfer sheets. Is there a difference?
The T-shirt transfer paper is creating an iron on image, while the printable fabric is the fabric itself (so no ironing on, or anything like that). Entirely different products.
Ashlynn it is correct, it is a different product. If you buy store bought, no need to use jet set. The store bought has done all the work for you, just follow their instructions. Transfer paper is not what is shown in the video

Does it matter which way the paper is fed through the printer? Mine does not feed from the back
hi One question what is Line Dry ?
Line Dry just means placing it out in the open to dry by air. So not using a machine like a clothes dryer.
Drying it on a washing line - pegging it out like you do with your laundry.
Thank you, Thank you Thank you😭😆
I'm trying to print something on black fabric and it's not coming through. Can you not print on black fabric?
A printer does not contain white ink. White fabric is ideal. If you print a color over black fabric, its still going to look black.
